SA is TOTALLY different than TER, and it drove me nuts at first. However, I have learned the rules in this totally different game. I'm not chasing SBs for the lower prices (okay, to some extent I am), but mainly because of the dearth of quality providers where I live. In contrast to that scarcity, there are HUNDREDS of SBs. Why that is the case is a long discussion, and I think worthy of some serious study, up to and including a PhD thesis or two, but it is true.

The other thing is that I genuinely enjoy having longer dates, repeat dates, conversation, lingering over a meal, and SA seems a better fit. The sex is generally good, but not escort level. However, it has a real GFE feeling that I like and the "no clock" part is wonderful, because it makes it all seem much more like a real date.

Don't ever think of SBs as escorts. It's not their job, they don't get reviews, they have no "reputation" to protect, they are not rated, they aren't on pee four or other similar sites. They won't see you privately just because you show up with money. The biggest difference is perhaps just that; the SB is evaluating you just as much as you are her, and she may very well go "Meh" or even "Yuck",and both have happened to me. SA is harder to learn than the world of professional escorts, and in some ways, speaking as guy, I think I'll never get it entirely. Escorts are pros, and thus one can often (not always, LOL) expect rational behavior. SBs aren't pros, they are women from all walks of life looking to make a little money on the side and have some fun, so (no offense ladies!) the operant part of that statement is that they are women, and thus a total mystery. I've come to love this element of unpredictability, because I love women and their mysterious ways. But not every guy who tries SA comes to that point of view.

It is being reported that SA is canceling memberships without refunds if there is any correspondence suggesting a pay for meeting arrangement.  They also sent a notice to most members.  Also, reported is some women reporting guys that suggest paying for a meeting offer.  This seems to come from the 9th Circuit ruling that sexwork is more transactional vs. relationship, which makes it illegal – so pay to meet seems risk of prostitution.

I’ve been on the site for a few years. It can be time consuming, but you learn what to look for and what to avoid just like reading escort ads. The time spent isn’t limited and you can avoid the ones with a sense of entitlement. When you get to talking money, you move on to texting.
