So my Dr. just changed my Rx. for Viagra to Revatio which is Sildenafil Citrate.  It calla for 5 pills for every one Viagra (20mg vs 100mg) but the 40 pill order only cost $43 so it is much less expensive.  I am wondering if anyone has any experience with Revatio and if so could they please comment.

The active ingredient is the same but the delivery system is not.  5 x 20mg tabs of one are not absorbed and as bio available as 1 100 mg of the other.  Revato for ED is on off-label use of the medication but you can easily complain to your doctor about the symptoms it is intended to address and will likely get the prescription.  I've tried it both ways.  I don't think there is much risk but I'm not an expert.  My Dr knew exactly what I was going to do with them.  Just be prepared potentially disappointing results.
