That was my experience too. Was on generic flomax equivalent for a few years, heard it could have effects as you said, so I stopped taking it as an experiment. I might have to get up one more time at night, but for me the trade off was worth it. On the ED side I found Levitra works better for me than V.. I have better sensitivity with L vs V.

The doc has me on Flomax to help with a BPH situation. The Flomax is starting to work. I can actually stray more than 100 feet from the nearest bathroom!
The big question is: have any of you noticed that a medication such as Flomax has made any difference (good or bad) to your sexual performance?
I had to put off seeing one lovely lady due to this situation, and I don't want to make her wait much longer?
It lowers the quantity of ejaculate, and the force (for me, at least). It hasn't affected the pleasure of release, thank God. With the blue pills, I find no trouble attaining and maintaining an erection. Ask your dr for an rx.

I'm right there with you guy. Went to the urologist today and was perscribed Jalyn. Didn't like the side effects quoted but didn't like the idea of surgery either so guess I'll see where this leads me. I was told once on these meds you're on for the long haul.

Welcome to the world of old farts. It's only going to get worse. Let me explain, started with me at about 60 BPH. Got to the point where at night I was in the bathroom more than the bedroom. At about 65 I started on Viagra, at about the same time my wife decided she wasn't going to have sex anymore. At 69 I started in this hobby with good success with the viagra until 73 then things got bad. Had prostrate surgery then the viagra made me stop having climaxes so went to the uro and he prescribed tri-mix. Just started that a short time ago but so far not much success. I am now pushing 75 and can have climaxes without a boner or take viagra and get a boner but can't climax. That's like being between a rock and a hard place. I'm learning to deal with it. The ladies don't seem to mind as long as they get paid. There's a lot more to it than that but that would take to long and no one would read it anyway. Thank you to all the wonderful ladies in this hobby that put up with our old fart problems. And I think most of the hobbyists are of a similar age. Good luck.
I asked my doc about daily use Cialis. He told me many insurance companies balk at it since Flomax is now generic and you can supplement as needed Cialis or Viagra. Cheaper for them.
Sure I'm up at 3AM, go right back to sleep. (use less bright lights) My urologist wouldn't Rx cialis daily but my PCP did & I got it approved, (because I'd already tried & failed FloMax) although C's still expensive. It works well for my needs. Yes Flomax messed with my performance.
Same here, everythilng working OK but it's only been a week on the meds. I've got a session planned for next week with an ATF to test the waters. I think it'll take the pressure off seeing someone I'm familiar with and knows me rather than someone new. No need to add to the drama of dealing with a new situation. Good luck Card...
