If I had a spouse or SO then I would probably ask for CBJ only.

and my experience corroborates yours. My wife is very supportive of our polyamorous lifestyle so no hiding of my hobbying is needed. But our agreement is to not bring home any diseases. That said, you gotta make choices. For us it is condoms always, BBBJ use your discretion. Neither of us has picked up any germs so far.
