Does that affect how your posts are received and how you are treated. I saw a post on the General Board attacking a few of the older posters a week or so ago. The poster, obviously young, dumb and full of cum, was insinuating that older hobbyists are out of touch.
I was appalled.
First, I realize that young hobbyists claim they cannot relate to some of the subjects older gents may find ofconcern (at least they will claim not to) such as ED and Viagra or Cialis. In truth, more men use these than care to admit. Even young 30 and 40 year old men, on antidepressants or blood pressure meds, need some help. So this is not entirely true.
It is interesting, but in many cultures, older individuals are looked to as role models. They are respected for their experience and knowledge. Not so much in the U.S. where we are youth oriented.
However, hobbying spans all age groups. How do you perceive you are regarded amongst younger hobbyists? Are you looked at as the voice of experience? Or out-of-touch?
how my age is perceived by younger hobbyists. I don't recall any such reactions to my TER posts. My only concern is how you ladies regard "mature gentlemen". From my experience, most providers prefer maturity and experience.
And many of the younger guys on the other boards haven't reached that point of maturity yet.
The reality is, regardless of the subject, you never know what you don't know- especially when you're young. And that's especially true for sex since every generation thinks they invented it, when all they've really done is come of age- not much of an accomplishment really. In the past, inexperienced people had the good sense to keep their mouths shut, but that's no longer the case. This is why I posted on a thread further down that the only place I've experienced ageism in the hobby is on the General Discussion Board.
Sure things have gotten a lot more out in the open than than they were in the past, but just because you talk about sex in public doesn't mean you invented it. In fact, I'm constantly amazed by some of the questions and comments I see on the GD board. The lack of understanding is often pretty significant. If you ever watched the show on HBO hosted by Katie Morgan where she shows clips of porn from the 1920's or earlier, you realize not only were they doing all the same things, they were filming it too- just like today.
I find it works in my favor being a more mature provider I see clients as young as 25 to 70 I started right when the milf explosion happened and was high in demand it also helps that I do look much younger than my years and have a youthful attitude about life! Although I am sure many will not see me based soley on my age their loss !
When I was young and inexperienced, I searched all over for a mature lady. I wanted someone like you to teach me to be a good lover. I never felt comfortable asking the young ladies for guidance. Although I enjoyed my OJT, there are still holes in my knowledge and experience.
I have never encountered any problems on the GD board and I certainly don;t hide my age.

Unless they have been reading here and really pay attention they don't know how old I am. I haven't seen any evidence of my posts being received in a certain way due to my age. It doesn't affect how I post except that whatever I say is in a gentler, kinder way. I have no idea how the younger hobbyists regard me. (but they probably don't know they are younger than me) There hasn't been anything to indicate what they think about that. I did have one poster say he respected my opinion but I have no idea his age. I assume he based that on my previous posts.
I have seen a few posts and discussion threads bashing "old folks" but not much. ...and yes, I believe it has been on the GD board.
I was defending myself about a fake review I recieved the problem was I was never there I had cancelled my tour ....he said she looked much older in person which would of be his opinion but He never saw me! based this on my age .....went on the LA boards telling me I needed to hang it up as a provider LOL I am laughing all the way to the bank!
