I had a question to those who have an inflatable penile implant. Correct me if I'm wrong but the biggest negative I have read is that you don't get an erection on your own anymore. The only way to get an erection is to pump it up.  
1. I realize that often in life there are positives and negatives but I was just curious if you really missed that.  

When properly excited I can get an erection especially with meds but generally very difficult to get it hard enough for penetration as my girth is rather large so going to the pump would solve that problem for me I would imagine. The only other thing is the mushroom head of my cock. I don't know if that would still enlarge to its previous size or not which was one of the things that excited a lot of women.  
2. Can any of you comment on that aspect?

As I have gotten older and the pills and even the injections have failed to get me where I want to be I am leaning toward just going ahead and having the surgery.
3. Any suggestions as to things to look for when considering the surgery and or especially the surgeon?

4. Last question, were you able to move about the next day alright? I don't mean go jogging but able to walk and drive even if it was painful to some degree?
