In the 1960s and '70s, I used to admire girls in tight, long-rise blue jeans with wide leather belts that showed off their slim waists. A gal's fancy back pockets, which would smile up at me and advertise the shape of her ass, are now rarely seen. Today her back pockets have dropped to her thighs and do nothing to show off the whole curve of her derriere.
Belt lines are all but non existent – covered up by all sorts of top garments. I do see signs that longer-rise garments might be making a comeback.

...70's. I don't miss them so much because the tight ass blue jeans are still around.
Those were/are my favorites too. Also, the mini-skirts which I believe were also popular in the late '60s-early '70s.
Hotpants were being worn by the girls in highschool back in the day. I'd just gotten kicked out of a religious high school where everyone wore uniforms. I landed in a public highschool where the girls were wearing hot pants. hoooly foook. Talk about not being able to concentrate on anything else!!!
