The general discussion board seems to be populated by people who take tremendous pleasure in being mean and nasty and snarky to one another.  It's a creepy unpleasant place to post.  If your feelings are easily hurt you will have a dreadful time there.  By contrast, posting here on the over 60s board feels safe.  People may respectfully disagree with what you say but they will not attack you personally and call you names.  So this is a totally different  board.

On the GD board our favorite tranny was comparing it to the over 60 board because of the conversation topics. It was not a compliment.
