Cannot contain a pic or a link to you website or other ad.  In your response to an original or exsisting post you can add a pic and any relevant link.

Your saying no ads.  And a link to a website is basically an ad.  Soooooo this isnt a regional board and its a little different. But a lady is allowed to post a pic if we the gentlemen of the board ask for it?  Kewl    And we as a group can throw links in if it goes along with the convo.

yes your right I think LOL I had a new thread and a pic and a link to my website  my mistake .....our wonderful mod fixed it so it could stay up ......your right this  board is the best board on TER the most friendly and fun .......no drama mamas here or drama kings......we all play well together in  the sand box.....so if you ask or start a thread requesting some ladies pics  and a theme  we will be happy to bring it on.....

I think pics are great in moderation but after all this is a forum. A forum needs people to join in and write something. To keep someone interested there needs to be variety. I post all over TER but the last few weeks centered time here. Ladies who followed the rules came once or twice and moved on. Victorias pictures stayed the others were taken down with links. She placed a link it stayed while last night a new lady came and posted a really interesting topic but put posted her link. It was taken down with the 5 or 6 posts that where under her. I was enjoying all everyone had posted but didn't get to finish before it disappeared.  The 5 men who posted put some pretty interesting info for all to read yet we the community missed out.

Please guys, we all know how beautiful Victoria is.  The other ladies don't or can't spend that kind of money on pictures and will come drop a picture and leave. Is that what you want or do you want them to get involved here and stay around. The once a week picture Thread on Thursday that Victoria suggested sounds good to me. Betty and myself will try to get other ladies to join in and in turn those ladies will suggest visits here. It is variety that makes a good board work with no shills and fast talking sales pitches. If a lady wants to sell herself go to your local board. This space is suppose to be a kinder gentler general board where no advertisements are allowed. Guys you know how to click on our reviews and go to our websites where there are plenty of pictures.

I'm loving my time here and enjoying the posts from everybody. You guys are stepping up to the plate and getting things going. Some ladies can be very controlling and I know i'm one of them. I have posted just because I thought a topic needed to be thrown out there for discussion. Sometimes my choices weren't so successful. Either way if you see a lady post jump in and make them feel welcome otherwise they may not come back.

What a great group of people we have here and just think, every day someone new will find their way to this board.

you only want pics on Thursday? You don't really want pics but once a week is OK. I'm not sure of your point.
I remember another lady's post (the one you are referring to I think.) it didn't have a picture (at least I don't remember one) but was pulled because of her link, I think. I had posted to it and the whole thing was pulled. I tried to bring it back. But what does that have to do with the picture post.

Is you point that the Moderator didn't handle each of the picture posts the same way and therefore the other ladies pictures disappeared while Victoria's didn't. Are you saying things weren't done fairly? Are you asking the guys to not request pictures?
I'm not trying to stir things up. Just want to understand what the main point of your post is.

If you feel I am stirring things up then know that is not my purpose and please answer in the spirit this post is intended ie. seeking understanding.

and the picture posts will become the center of this forum. Do you see that on the General Board ? No pics are allowed or mini reviews. Every lady wants to be the center of attention and every man wants to shout to the rafter their favorite.  I see it on my local board with tons of pictures. Since it is so easy to make a board one big advertisement how could that be good. Getting people to post about something is far better and the board will pick up.

Thats a new rule. We have been doing it all along and now my posts were denied and I couldn't figure out why you said it was an advertisement. We've always added our link to our posts. I was even told by a MOD to do that.    Confused now???????

I think it's ok for you to post with a link and/or picture as long as you aren't the originating poster. If I read the OP correctly.
I too have seen a post somewhere that said TER encouraged providers to post links. Your comment about the mod telling you about it jogged my memory. It's just that if you originate the thread with a pic and/or a link then it's considered an ad.

That was very political of you.. I like this forum and have not noticed any abuse. And isn't it an oxymoron for TER to list the link to a providers profile after their name or a link to a gents reviews after his, and then say don't post a link or a pic! I would agree if every other topic was an ad bit a link or pic in a topic of relevance is not an ad. so why flex the muscle just because you can.

Kinda like congress passing useless laws instead of working on more pressing matters like budget cuts and unemployment

I talked to 3 ladies last week who said they do not like TER because they find it too difficult to use. After posting several topics or ad's and getting blasted for violations they did not understand they just left.

I like pictures as much as the next guy...  but I can't imagine if a lady could start posts & include her picts & a link to her site!  It would be like the old CL where girls posted ads 4 times a day.
