WATCH OUT Gainswave is a FRAUD!!!!
That does NOT mean that ESWT or Shockwave Therapy is a fraud because it is very real and effective!
IF you do some research you will find that Gainswave uses "Acoustic Wave Therapy" whereas ALL of the double blind studies talk about either Focused or Linear Shockwave Therapy.
You have to either be treated with the OmniSpec ED1000 unit or a Duolith SD1 unit. ONLY those pieces of equipment have been studied and proven to work. IF they are giving you a numbing cream then you can count on the fact it is Radial wave or acoustic wave or acoustic pressure wave therapy WHICH DOES NOT WORK.
ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy) is NOT the same as acoustic wave or those other scam companies.

Is GAINSWave treatment for ED clinically effective?
In the United States, at the moment, a number of radial pressure wave devices are used to stimulate blood flow. They are Class 1 medical devices and can be used by anyone, with or without medical training.
Companies including GAINSWave™, that are providing devices and training for ED clinics across the United States are promoting “high frequency, low intensity sound waves to improve blood flow to the penis”, but they are conflating this with the research that has been conducted using focused shock waves.
Practitioners and patients should be aware that the therapies promoted by GAINSWave, at least at this point, have not been proven to be clinically effective.
The medical arena is full of con artists and sure those websites will reference all the studies proving Shockwave therapy does in fact work and work well; but what they are not admitting is that their equipment does not used focused or Linear shockwave therapy!!! Bastards!!!
Its like them telling you to follow their left hand so that with their right hand they can steal from you.
Sure, ESWT has been used to treat kidney stones but with those you don't have to have linear or focused shockwave therapy BUT you DO with the treatment of ED!!!!!
I had to email the manufacturer of the Duolith SD1 to find out where there was a physician in my area that uses their equipment. Sadly I am not sure the OmniSpec ED1000 is approved in the USA yet even though many of the studies used their equipment for the treatment. A lot used the DuoLith SD1 but I would guess more used the ED1000.
From my reading you would need 6 treatments but 12 is better. The office near me said they do 6 weekly treatments.
You have no pain or discomfort, you do NOT have to stop taking any other medications or refrain from sex.
This allows you to have spontaneous erections without medication or injections. Some people may still need them to be sure but this is a huge step forward that Europe has been using for year ahead of the US.
