I was working with my regular guest list, adding new people to it and the list is getting
longer so if someone from this board is looking to be added I would need to know soon .
I guess postponing my January event was good because everyone is ready to travel.
I have room for about 10 more people .

The only way to make it really happen , is to have a over 60 meet .I know everyone is all over the place but is it possible that there is an in between? I would love to see this happen . Help if you can
with a good place in the middle to meet. Maybe east coat meets west coast in midwest coast?
Ideas?

Someday when the board has been around awhile with many more members but at the moment I think it would take the look of advertising in TER's eyes. Just my take on the subject

I was hoping it might not be viewed as that but I was trying to help with ideas because as a seperate
board we're going to have to have some kind of activity no? Maybe luncheon , sporting event.
I was hoping to give some closure as to "how will this happen " question back on my old post.
Oh well. I see the new changes today and am staying tuned . Have a great day!

Actually, I think this is a great idea - I guess I'm a believer in being bold and trying something new - Chicago is a great middle ground - easy to get there from anywhere in the country - of course, as a self centered New Yorker my first thought was well is has to be here - but as one who has lived all over the place, I also think convenience is better. Lakeshore Drive - here we come!

for us.  The Metroplex has may options between Dallas and Ft. Worth.  Why not October when the Texas state fair is going on?

That would be a bit further for many to fly when Chicago is a shorter flight , main connecting
place, I would not go somewhere where I know no one, to look for a venue to have a meet.Finding
a place that we need in another state would be a very unrealistic expectation of me .

looking for a geographic center, St. Louis or Kansas City is more central than either Chicago or Dallas, though neither is as cosmopolitan.  Plus Texas used to have some really odd drink laws.  I once spent a night near DFW & drove down the road to a recommended BBQ place & asked them where I could get a beer to go with the BBQ & they told me it was a dry city/county/whatever; nearest beer was one county over or something.  Maybe they've changed.

A M&G for this board would be awesome. Haley is right though. Let's let the board grow a bit more to create a wider pool of both men and women and then let's see if we could really pull it off. Crazier things have started with a vision that eventually became a reality!
