I wonder if the nature of this 60+ board and the men and women who are regulars here feel the same about the terms that are commonly used to define the profession that that women here have chosen

To me, terms such as hooker, whore, prostitute etc have such negative connotations that in my mind I have made distinctions and rationalize that the women whom I choose to see are no different than the intelligent, attractive, educated women whom I might hook up with at a party or in an upscale bar, actions that much of our contmporary society tends to condone and find perfectly accepatble. Make sense or am I deluding myself? It's all fiction anyay - isn't it? LOL
...and if they must be used, use them respectfully and with accuracy. My .02 is that a lady I may see is a good friend and becomes closer as we progress in friendship. Having said that, I don't pollinate every flower that attracts my stinger either. Guess that labels me as over 60? LOL

I see a lady and we have a date. All of us sell something of ourselves to live, whether it is our body, our labor, or our brain. It is all the same. Labels only serve to demean.
