As mentioned above most insurance won't cover Cialis (Tadalfil)....

I now use a Canadian pharmacy with a prescription. The price per table is about 1/2 the U.S. price. Canadian Drugs used to offer a generic from India, but, due to quality issues they now only offer Cialis branded (from the UK).

....to discover that I have coverage for Stendra under my health care insurance plan.  My out of pocket is a tad over $7 a pill with the insurance covering 3 pills per 30 days.  Was also pleasantly surprised to find that the side effects I get from Stendra are less than I was experiencing with Viagra.  Even if I was to pay full boat for the Stendra it is about 2/3 retail of Viagra.  For me a 200mg Stendra gives the same result as a 100mg Viagra.  Stendra is fairly new on the market and my prescribing physician had to hand write the script as the drug was not yet in her database.

Insurance should cover " Provider Visits"

I get Viagra by prescription thru Medco (pharmacy by mail).  I get 30 pills of 100mg for $50 and as often as not I cut them in half, so it's quite cheap. My insurance must be paying a lot if the normal retail price is as high as some of you guys are reporting.

and without it the Pharmacy quoted me a ridiculous price. (approx. $175 for 30 days!  I thibnk the pharmacy is used to this & routinely quotes the price so they don't fill Rx & get refused to pay.)  

The pharmacy suggested & I requested my doctor submit for prior authorization.  My doctor's office contacted me to inform me that the Prior Authorization was denied.  My doctor's medical assistant asked (reading off the insurance form) if I had previously tried Viagra or Levitra.  Well, actually I have & they work fine for ED but I skipped all that because we were requesting coverage for BPH.  I mentioned 2 treatments I'd tried previously & failed for BPH.  Within 24 hours, the prior authorization was approved.  
Unfortunately the Cialis daily is tier 2 for me with a cost of $45 or so for 30 days.  My doctor prescribed 5mg & I cut the first 30 trial in half & intend to do likewise with the rest.  I also cut down some 20 mg Cialis to 2.5 +/- but they are about the same size so the smaller pills must use a filler. The 20 mg when cut was so tiny it was hard to cut them evenly but since it is slow to leave the blood stream...  any unevenness is unimportant.  
BTW I decided to go public with my BPH treatment so it's not a secret from SO.  After all it's for BPH!  

If I had not gotten Prior Authorization granted, I had laid he ground work with my doctor to request a paper Rx which I could shop discount sources with.
