As an off-shoot of the side effect question, I'd like to know the opinion of my 60+ buddies who can compare two or more of these. Which has been the most effective? My Medicare plan provides (perhaps generic) Viagra much more cheaply than Levitra. So far, it's not quite as effective. A friend has given me some Cialis which I will try and report on in a few days.

If you want to try something more natural and which really truly works then start taking L-Arginine which is an amino acid natural to the body.  It it increases Nitrous Oxide which is also natural to your body and required to get wood.  I don't have ED problems but when I take L-Arginine I wake up every morning with wood so hard I suspect someone could stand on the tip without it folding over!  In addition to the L-Arginine you should take a Pycnogenol supplement as well.  You can google this stuff and find the facts on it.  That combination has been studied and found to be just as effective as ed meds for a lot of men.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect if taking these supplements that ED meds would also be more effective.

There have been studies done on this combination.  Below is the abstract from one such study.  

Penile erection requires the relaxation of the cavernous smooth muscle, which is triggered by nitric oxide (NO). We investigated the possibility of overcoming erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing the amounts of endogenous NO. For this purpose, we orally administered Pycnogenol, because it is known to increase production of NO by nitric oxide syntase together with L-arginine as substrate for this enzyme. The study included 40 men, aged 25-45 years, without confirmed organic erectile dysfunction. Throughout the 3-month trial period, patients received 3 ampoules Sargenor a day, a drinkable solution of the dipeptide arginyl aspartate (equivalent to 1.7 g L-arginine per day). During the second month, patients were additionally supplemented with 40 mg Pycnogenol two times per day; during the third month, the daily dosage was increased to three 40-mg Pycnogenol tablets. We obtained a sexual function questionnaire and a sexual activity diary from each patient. After 1 month of treatment with L-arginine, a statistically nonsignificant number of 2 patients (5%) experienced a normal erection. Treatment with a combination of L-arginine and Pycnogenol for the following month increased the number of men with restored sexual ability to 80%. Finally, after the third month of treatment, 92.5% of the men experienced a normal erection. We conclude that oral administration of L-arginine in combination with Pycnogenol causes a significant improvement in sexual function in men with ED without any side effects.

It's good to know that some women understand that.  And they put art over science.  

 Of course, meds can and do help many of us.  But don't ever underestimate the abilities of the right sexy woman.

I can say for myself, I used viagra for four years with great results until it started stopping my climax's. Then I tried Cialis for awhile with very little response from Jr.  No side effects from either one. Now I just started on tri-mix.  When I inject in the right spot it works great. I use mail order P Boost. Have been for two years. Take one capsule one hr before and gets me rock hard.
