I'm in my late 50's and for the past few years have also experienced this. My low T was at about 170 when last checked, although "free testosterone" is the best indicator and I don't recall that value at the moment. I need an intimate experience to get aroused that generally includes DFK or a very slow and sensual massage. I think some degree of this normally accompanies aging. I'm in good shape, very active, not overweight and I eat right, yet I still have this issue.

There is another thread below on this topic but my question is a little different. I'm in my early 50's.
I don't have a problem with ED at all. When I get hard you could split timber with my unit.
The problem I'm having is more of one of arousal. When I was younger I only had to think of a naked woman and I got wood. Sometimes many times a day. Today I went in for a massage and the girl was rubbing my balls and doing all kinds of things to tease me and she was hot and I just did not get mentally aroused. Usually what does it for me is kissing or rubbing a woman's pussy. I think it has to do with if I know I'm not going to have FS then I don't get aroused. Finally, when she grabber my unit to rub one out I got about half hard. Partly because I could put my hand down her pants.

Again...I need very specific things to get me going.
I'm not happy with that. Even when I get wood, mentally I just don't feel that stimulated any more. I have desire, but don't get really horny any more.
My T level is around 340 which is low but not considered low T. However, doctors don't know what was normal for me. If normal for me was 900 then 340 might be considered drastically low.
I know arousal wise I'm not where I used to be even 1 1/2 years ago.
I would like to hear from anyone who was in the same position as me, and who got replacement therapy. about what kind of difference (if any) it made for you? Was there any down side?
