Myself I often have just social dates to start with which then become intimate( not of course in StarBacks .. and not free, but and not full rate of intimate time)

Although I have never been invited to a M & G and it not being in my nature to peruse an invitation I do admit some interest in attending one. A caveat however, the type of M&G I would have some interest in would likely to be restricted to perhaps gentlemen of 55 and over. My reasoning for an age requirement is that younger men ( some, certainly not all) tend to be more aggressive and less courteous. At this stage of life I am less interested in the gamesmanship and more interested in the bounty. I don't need to be competitive to feel fulfilled or satisfy my ego. I don't have a problem with others doing that but it is not an environment that appeals to me any longer.
 Obviously the opportunity to meet a variety of ladies who have an interest in seasoned gentlemen in a relaxed atmosphere has significant appeal. If such a M&G exists I am not aware of it.

I've been to a couple, because I thought highly of the organizers who set it all up, did real screening, selected good venues, checked names (board names, that is) at the door, etc. I was nervous at the first one, but it was amazingly tame. Impressions:

It's like a cocktail party, with two big differences: The women are WAY hotter than the average party, and you can walk up to the most gorgeous women in the room and they WILL talk to you. That part is wonderful.

I made friends with a few of the guys, who I saw later over a beer to compare notes on various things. Good people, and it is amazing how mostly ordinary they (including me) all are. Comparing myself to other mongers, I got over my shyness about talking to all the gorgeous women in the room, because I look pretty good compared to all the other guys. No male model, but definitely not the ugliest mug in the room. This was interesting context to learn.

I was surprised how friendly and chatty the ladies all were with each other. They are nominally business rivals, but there was no manifestation of that as far as I could tell. There were regulars and some newcomers (both providers and clients) and everyone was warmly welcomed by the M&G veterans.

Worth going to? Yes, certainly, once or twice. Beyond that, it depends on how active/large the hobby community is in your area, whether it's always the same people, etc. I did see two women I met at the M&Gs later on, and they were both great. Both were/are on p411, so I didn't absolutely need the M&G to connect, but it made the decision to see them much easier. I'm glad I did it.

In a few cities. I prefer a small group, but have been to M&Gs with prolly 150 attendees. In one city where rates are high it's nice to see a provider in person. While I've never left a M&G with anyone I have made arrangements to meet later in the week.

From my experiences, I have had dates afterwards (weeks or months, not the same evening) with several (more than 2 but less than 10) ladies I wasn't sure I would enjoy being with.

I've been invited to attend a few Las Vegas MG, but this kinda gig ain't my thing. And no offense to anyone but I wouldn't want to meet anyone from here on a face to face level. I get the PM's from guys asking me about so and so and I reply to all in a very honest way, but that's where I draw the line. I like to keep shit this very private.

Being a married guy, I'd have to duck out just when the party was getting started. Too weird.

They were all organized by agencies. I did meet some lovely ladies who I then dated. One of these agencis did a fin job. Attendance was for establishd clients known to them and you had to sign up in advance and show ID at th door. But the other agency was quite indiscreet and as I learned later just about anyone could attend. The M&G became one way that LE found to work their hateful persecution of the people in attendance. That was a scary close call for me,  so I would not attend  
another M&G unless I had superb assurances that it was truly discreet and private.

To see if there is an intimacy and connection and not just business like  intends.

I do cater to those who prefer a romance and cultural events as well. Life is good when it is balanced and when there are passions on life.. sex is one ingredient to the 'soup"of human satisfaction , if we are of course not an animals - only sex can be good when it is animalistic .. yet intimacy between tow has to be very humbly warm ..  
I would contuine  with my routine -

dinner start -  to check a chemistry
then private and public time time with deposit applied to the rest of the private time.

Have been to two M&G and enjoyed them both.      It gave me a chance to put a real person view to the some providers and clients rather than just being an internet picture or handle.     The only place I have seen where a regular old guy can talk to a beautiful model and not be brushed off.     Everyone was very friendly and all been screened so it was a very safe atmosphere .     No sexual activities or deal making was going on that I saw.   It was the atmosphere of a cocktail party with good food.    The gents were talking about the good looks on the girls and I'm sure some of the ladies talked about the men also.     Got to meet and talk to several Agency owners which was very nice and reassuring about their venues.      Met some indy providers and agency providers I have never met before and will use in the future.     Look forward to attending another M&G in the future.

I have never attended a M&G for the first time when I wasn't rigorously screened. Just like when I see a provider for the first time. Once you've been screened , any future M&Gs held by the same host or hostess it's just like seeing a provider for the second time.  

Try to attend a M&G without an invite? And you'll be turned away at the door. Take a picture with a camera at M&G, you'll be asked to leave.  

Yes a reporter attended a M&G in NY, he was Invited by the host, who I believe was run out of TER for this situation.  

The key to the security of a M&G is the host.  Many hosts have been holding them for a number of years and haves excellent reputations.  

I make a lot of my purchase decisions based on the M&G's I attend.

The "lady" above is, as usual, over-reacting.  She clearly has her own reasons for not wanting to go and is (not very subtly) trying to cast doubt on the whole M&G thing.  Just a guess but perhaps she's been denied an invitation and is angry about it.

Even at my age (65), I'm not comfortable around groups of strangers.
