Did I miss something, I was under the impression that viagra patent expires December 11, 2017. Two companies teva and actavis were to going to market a generic version. The only talk on the internet is Otc viagra in uk this spring. Did that agreement get delayed or what happen?
I've been using generics for several years that I order online from Canadian Pharmacy or other sites. Despite the name, they ship from India and have a call center in the Phillipines. But the product is good.... about $2-3 per pill.
The current patent on Viagra applies only to its use for ED. But sildenafil is now "off patent" for pulmonary hypertension and a physician can prescribe it for something else, e.g. ED They happen to be the same chemical! Only difference is pill size: sildenafil only comes in 20 mg But it is a heck of a lot cheaper than Viagra now even if you have to take 2-4 pills to get the same dose!
I buy 90 20 mg pills from my Doctor for $100 which is about $1.11 per pill or $5.55 per dose !!! I went in for an annual check up about a year ago and in the course of discussion this came up-I have used it successfully and refilled it twice ! That equates to 18 acts per 90 pills !!! Woo Hoo !!
Huh. With all respect, if you think it's "not as strong", that's a placebo effect. Sildenafil citrate is just a chemical, and it makes no difference if it's labeled "viagra" or not; the chemical is the same.
The one difference I have noticed is that if I order a large quantity it is somewhat less effective after 1-2 years, even when stored in that canonical "cool, dry place" and well before the expiration date. Other than that, the stuff is just the SAME, because it's the same chemical...
Try Sams Club.If you are a Sams Plus member Qty 30 20mg pills is $10. Not a plus member will be more but still way less than the name brand. Will need a prescription from your doc but should be no problem if you are in reasonably good health.
The reason the 20 mg tabs don't last as long is probably because they are loose in a bottle, while the brand name pills are individually hermetically sealed in a blister pack, keeping out moisture.
6 tablets (or more depending on insurance coverage) in a normal prescription bottle. I asked at several pharmacies about individual packs and was told they didn't have them and probably wouldn't get them. Those individual packs have only been available about a year. V has always been packaged like all other prescriptions and still is.
I've never had a problem with using viagra or cialis after due dates. I did find one time (2 )50mb viagra tablets in a prescription bottle that a doctor gave me on a trial basis. I thought I had use them. They work fine. Otherwise all my pills have been sealed in 4 packs. When I split pills I wrap them in tinfoil and use the unused the next time. I think you made have gotten some bogus sildenafil.
I've been fortunate to have regularly traveled to Europe for the past 7-8 years. I found a completely reliable and ethical reseller in the UK who would ship to my hotel in whatever city in Europe I was visiting. I bought a lot of 100mg pills of generic Viagra and pouches of the Kamagra jelly for a very reasonable price. The jelly worked quickly and very effectively. The last of them are about 6 months beyond their shelf life. I found that I could cut the 100mg pills in half and have the same result. These days, I'm one & done but the pills ensure there is a "one" and that I have a reasonable chance of pleasing the lady. My VIP has expired here (can't renew from the U.S.) but I am on ISG as Max #01. Anyone desiring mor info can PM me over there.
