We all have noticed certain words that also have a totally different meaning in the hobby world. Such as if someone asks you "who is your current provider?" This time, however I caught myself blurting out a common hobby term instead of the correct, but similar, one.
It happened while playing a popular game of cards that I've been playing since high school; so I'm very familiar with the terminology. When nobody picks the two card blind it's up to the dealer to declare a "leaster", where the game proceeds and the player who gets the least amount of points wins, or declare a "doubler" where you simply re-deal and the stakes are then doubled. I was the dealer, and after nobody picked, I announced "we're going to have a doubles". I immediately recognized what I had just said, but tried not to make too much of a big deal of it or correct myself with some type of excuse. Sadly, I can't even remember exactly what I said. So I guess my problem is at least a combination of the two above possibilities. I am not sure if anyone present was thinking anything of it, but one of the young ladies at the table did give me a bit of grin.Have you seen this one?
was a bit surprised to see it on TV here in the States. Not totally accurate, but it cleverly gets their point across. Hope it works for them, I'd like to see more.

Your frat boy comment took me back to a time in which I do miss the sex....but I do not miss the uncertainty that my roommate might miss the thumbtack signal on the door.
Could that be the reason we did it so fast???????????? Well, sounds like a good excuse to me.I am not complaining! In fact, I couldn't be happier that I am still very much interested and now able to experience the opposite sex in ways I never thought possible.
And it's not just about sex; I am very grateful that I have not lost the zest of life for pretty much everything. Including travelling and seeing new places, playing and competing in sports with kids half my age, reading, living a (fairly) healthy lifestyle, and taking on new and exciting challenges. A big reason for this continued enthusiasm are the few lovely ladies that I have met in this hobby. So a big thank you goes out to all of you gals who are so understanding, patient, and just so damn awesome to all of us "good healthy Gents". I have seen too many people, for one reason or another, simply loose interest in many of the things that they used to love
