I use Viagra. Doctor prescribed. I use the 100 mg. I tried the others. They worked OK. Left me literally hanging a time or two though. That's why I tried the Viagra. It works every time. I have read about cutting the 100 mg pill and just taking 50mg. I'm thinking about trying it. Insurance covers some of the cost but they are expensive. I figured if I could use 50 mg that would help my budget. My question, has anyone gone from taking 100 mg to 50 mg and if so do you have anything you could say about how well it worked? Did it last as long or not? Were the side effects as noticeable or no change? etc.
I've cut Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. I find full strength too much of an effect. Cialis was definitely a weekender pill.
I cut the pill until I just barely get a buzz. About 1/3 of a Levitra is right for me. It gives me a boost, and minimizes the side effects (delayed O, headaches, etc.). The effects linger for hours.
If she wanted a hard ride for an hour, full strength is the way to go. But, most ladies complain. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing.
My experience with Viagra was similar to Levitra. If the does works, it easily lasts the hour for a date. The effect will not be as strong as a few hours later, but then you can take the rest of the pill if you want to reload.
You should pay close attention to other health issues or comorbidities, and the other medications you are taking. Everyone reacts differently. I do think that its better to start off with a smaller dose and see what happens. Err on the side of caution.
Most importantly, consult a pharmacist. They have the booksmarts and experience dealing with a wide variety of gents that have taken Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis to varying degrees of success. Its fun to experiment with sex toys, positions, different partners, but prescriptions not so much. IMHO.

I wonder if my success in hobby dates is due to the Cialis or to woman like you, Kathi, whose beauty, charm and experience have paved the way for nature's wonder of making my ( what did we decide to call it?) rise to the occasion. For me, It is most likely the combination of great stimuli assisted by the drugs that facilitate the reaction.
You're absolutely right. That is why I mentioned up front that it is doctor prescribed. I plan to ask about cutting the pill. I actually don't take any other meds. I don't have to be concerned about reactions. I did, with a doctor, try the other ED meds that are out there. The Viagra worked every time. Well at least so far. Been using it over a year now. The Cialis worked pretty well and I thought it would be the one I'd use. It left me literally hanging a couple of times though with ladies I'd seen before. There is no doubt they were hot. That's when I went to Viagra. Thanks.

I use cialis ( wont go on a date without it) and I still find it depends on whether I have a good time with the lady and/or find her hot
If I end up in a situation where say the pics wherent her or her performance was bad, taking the pill didnt help much
there has to be some interest and stimulation for it to work. I often have to explain to ladies that it doesn't give an erection it makes an erection possible. One young provider thought it gave the user a 4 hour erection by what she had heard on the commercials. She thought that's how it worked not understanding that that part of the commercial was a warning.
My MD prescribes 100 mg & I use a pill cutter (MD suggested it). V tastes like crap, the only reason for the coating. Swish it with a gulp of water, problem solved. Use the smallest dose that works for you. I'm actually about half of the 25 mg... but it works wonders. 25-50-100 all cost about the same!

please continue. I was interested in what happened from those that had tried using half the dose. It will be Viagra I use whatever the dosage.
This is such a complicated and personal topic. It depends.... I have used all three in the past 4 years. I am 64. In the past L has been best. Reliable and predictable. I have used the phrase, "Learning to trust Levitra." For the most part I use 20 mg and cut in half. Usually good for certainly 8 hours. C is good for 24. Recently I have had some failures with L and upped to 20 mg. But the failures may have been because of being distracted and not in the mood. I have used 50mg of V and didn't find it better. Never went to 100. You have got to experiment. In the past six months I have had great success with of 20 mg of C and 10 mg of L. Those are my two favorites right now and I just take one of those two pills an hour before a session and hope for the best. Human chemistry is not always a certainty. Cut a V in half and see what happens. 10 or 20 mg of L does not seem to make a difference in terms of side effects. Good luck.
personal in that it's clear from this thread and many others that what works for one doesn't for another. I am amazed at the guys that say Cialis et al works for them and lasts a long time. It did not for me. However the Viagra, I have full confidence in it. It's significant to point out that I had full confidence in Cialis until it didn't work that first time. My mind set wasn't the issue.
I intend to try cutting the 100 mg Viagra. Guess I'll just throw it out there and see if it floats so to speak.
I don't think the erection was quite as good for me... but the deal breaker was the 18 hour back ache. I was ready to get into my tiny stash of "real" drugs! Took bad my luck with the lottery was not this good! LOL!

What I remember about Cialis is the headaches were worse than the Vigra headaches. With the Viagra sometimes I don't get the headaches and if I do a couple of advil take care of it. I didn't get the backaches with Cialis. With Viagra I get them occasionally. Again advil takes care of it.
has anyone tried MoJo Rising...? You get it at health food stores...pilots recommend it...!!!
