I used the pump religiously when I was recovering, but after that it sat in my dresser drawer because the cock rings were effective.

Have used them...ok but rings are much better and more economical.  

I use cock rings a lot and they work really well for me. But, I really enjoy the feeling of the pump and have used it while a provider was using a pussy pump on herself.
I don't know anyone who has had a session of mutual pumping. It was so hot!!!!

I know a urological clinic where several of the doctors prescribe pumps and cock rings to achieve and maintain erection.  I also know they are studying a system of time under vacuum therapy -- but I don't know the details of the cures or improvements the hope to achieve.

that's a good summary.  quite accurate.  worst is that you have to figure out how to carry it around for hobby use.
