General FAQ

What is The Erotic Review anyway?

The Erotic Review is, as its name implies, a place where stunning women in the sex service industries are discussed, recommended, worshipped or panned. We offer ‘how to meet and greet’ guides for first time clients, tips on escort etiquette, how to avoid legal entrapment, information about the fees charged, sexual advice, erotic stories, and much more! Our reviews serve as powerful barometers that keep an otherwise illegal business honest, and our website is a perfect forum for members of The Hobby, as it is fondly known, to gather for information, support, and camaraderie. So… welcome to TER!

So, who are you?

We are a group of hard working guys who enjoy indulging in adult entertainment services from time to time. We are not a company looking to squeeze money from other members or the escort industry. We sincerely believe this site is of value to our community because we keep an otherwise illegal business honest. We also give escort consumers a place to go for help and information. Until TER, little information was circulated that could clue men in on the etiquette behind booking an escort and making sure her caliber of service was up to snuff. Prior to TER, if a promised service was not delivered, or if you had a wonderful time and wanted to recommend the lady, how would you get the word out? Now we can find out exactly what to expect from these girls before we spend our hard earned money.

Are the reviews real?

Yes, the reviews are absolutely real! We prefer to ‘err on the side of not publishing one if we suspect it’s a fake. We also remove questionable reviews.

Where do the reviews come from?

The reviews come from you, the guys who use our service. Once you patronize a lady and complete a review, we’ll verify its authenticity. If it meets our standards we publish it.

What about confidentiality?

Providing a safe environment where both providers and clients can anonymously express their views is our main concern. TER fees are processed via third party processor, which prevents even TER from having full access to our members’ personal information. We also recommend that you take advantage of such free e-mail sites as GMail, Yahoo Mail, and Hotmail, so that a TER email won’t be sent to any sensitive, personal account.

So, what is the catch?

We need your help to make TER a useful resource for everyone. If you submit two published reviews a month, you will be rewarded with a 30 day VIP Membership. If you don’t wish to provide reviews you may join as a VIP Member. Either way, once you become a VIP Member you will able to access the enhanced features of this site. So what’s the catch? There is none, ya Knucklehead! Enjoy!

How will the Membership Fee appear on my credit card?

The charge will appear as THP Online Reviews. Depending on which payment processor is used.

Is site site a slam-fest for guys who are pissed off?

No way! The reviews need to be objective. We understand that not everyone has the same taste, and that the ladies cannot always provide the same experience, so we prefer to publish an unlimited number of reviews on each provider. We want this site to be a true indication of the level of service offered.

Does every review make it on the site?

No. But to give everyone a fair chance, we do use several; consistent criteria to decide which reviews will be published. (Please see our submission guidelines for complete details, in order to increase your chances of publication). As a rule of thumb, however, frequent contributors will have most of their reviews published. Providers and/or their representatives cannot submit reviews. TER has excellent proven safeguards for detecting a phony or doctored review, so we suggest you don’t even try it, ladies. If you are found to have submitted a false review you will be banned from this site, which can have a seriously detrimental effect on your business.

What if I am a provider and like the reviews that I received?

If you like your reviews, you have every right to be proud. Tell everyone! And then place a hyperlink on your webpage that points potential clients directly to your review page. The text for the link needs to read "Reviewed by The Erotic Review". Please do not cut and paste this information. Email us and we will help you set up a special link that directs users to your review.

What if I do not like a review that I receive?

We are not out to trash anyone. Reviews are an accumulation of the experiences of our membership. Some have good experiences; some bad. If we removed every bad review, what value would the site hold? However, if you still feel that a particular review is unfair, inaccurate, or fictional, please email us so that we may personally assist you in resolving the matter.
