I think Loren and I may have seen one another in a prior iteration with Alex at Elliott Bay (Alex sure thought so) but neither of us seemed to remember, which made the encounter a bit like a first date. She arrived exactly on time (she is an Elliott Bay girl, after all), dressed in what seemed like a really comfortable but appropriate outfit for the high class hotel where we were staying. After some chitchat where we established we could not remember one another, Alex notwithstanding, we started to kiss.
