Trust me when I do say it was hard to stoop to a level of under handed methods of blackmail and making sure that I was one up on this guy. I don't want to bring any drama to this board or any board or to anyone...this guy meant to be mean to me and picked on the wrong bitch to do it to...I will say that even though he cried his tears meant nothing and what he said about me is not to ever be forgiven. It is in his best interest to be nice to everyone in the hobby for I don't want to come back and make good on my promise to him...I might not be the best person but I am trying to be honest...we all have families in this and mine is very important to me...everyone have a greaat holiday and let it all me in tomorrows news...I don't think you will have to worry about him ever...he knows what I will do if he breaks his promise....kisses

Disturbing is right. References to blackmail make me very uneasy. This form of retaliation is unacceptable under any circumstance.
Men embellish the activities of encounters and post fake reviews all the time. I have been a victim of this as have many other established providers.
If one's "family" is so important, then I suggest a provider get a real job and moonlight as an escort. A real job provides a steady income and benefits. Your livelihood shouldn't be contingent upon escorting, especially in the state of the fragile economy.
Having been a victim of fake and embellished reviews I can appreciate the need for you to escalate the issue quickly in order to clear your name. However, a public post should have sufficed. If you had the e-mail that was circulated you could have also written a rebuttal e-mail to those gentlemen.
This entire situation is ridiculous. TER is a database that was established to collect viable information on providers so men seeking services can make an educated choice. The concept of men gossiping like a bunch of school girls wigs me out. (Please tell me they are under 40 so they don’t contact me!!)

We are not talking about a fake or embellished review. BK (who is around 40) sent emails to a lot of Katy's past clients (here in Boston and else where) stating that she offered BBFS to him. She started getting phone calls from these clients expressing concern for their safety.
Katy handled the situation in a very mature way. Katy talked with a lot of people (clients and providers) before deciding what course of action to take. She contacted him and explained that he had two choices, make amends for his transgression or he will have to live with the consequences. I find it amazing that ladies have actually had this exact situation happen to them in the past and have simply ignored it. This just allows him to think he can do this with impunity. IMO there are times when it is appropriate to deal with creatures like this.

...And while your "get a real job" lecture isn't lost upon those of us who've read it at least three other times in recent memory when directed to other providers whom you didn't approve of it is NOT applicable in this situation.
We're not just talking about a provider being inundated with concerned clients.
We're talking about clients who would intentionally seek her and attempt to forcefully gain what they had "read about".
We're talking about her entire body of work being compromised-you're not new to the game, as a provider you should know that one rumor, no matter how false can sink a provider's career and FAST.
I haven't read one single comment from a hobbyist indicating that Katy's actions were inappropriate, even the one that you were responding directly underneath said that BK must have done one hell of a thing to deserve the wrath of a provider, and publicly at that.
BK is the worst of the worst and he deserves no tap on the wrist that your typical "bad boy" gets.
He deserved the tension that he felt because he compromised her entire livelihood with one mean, malicious lie.
Very well written. What provider would want to share a foxhole with this fellow sister? To allude that Katy did something wrong by not following some code of absolute ethics is really appalling. When you back somebody into a corner, you must expect that this person will defend themselves with any means at their disposal. And Kate, let's not assume that blackmail was the form of leverage used here.

Whatever it was, I missed it. Whatever he said must have been pretty bad, as Katie is about the sweetest southern girl I have ever met. That smile, that bod, that attitude, and those eyes are really something. Obviously, that man whose balls are so big that they cover his eyes has never actually met her. What a shame.
But, what is really pissing me off, is that he didn't include me in his email. I feel shunned and unwanted.

I do not know what transpired here, but since a lady friend of mine who was in Boston this week is linked indirectly through other posts here, I have to wonder WTF is up with this? Ignorance is not bliss! Please realize that what you said, whether BS or not, goes beyond just Boston...

BK pm'd me and some other Chicago gents with the exact same story early in '08. Turns out, his review of his "experience" was with a completely different provider with a similar name. Now I have to question whether he even saw anyone at all. What a nasty low life.
I have been thinking all week about this post and whether to reply or not and its eating me inside...this asshole did the same thing to me in the beginning of '08. Thank god I have great clients who trust me enough to talk to me about what's going on and not jump to conclusions....I am really grateful for that...
On another note:

I have to really ask people to take a step back and think about the impact they have on peoples lives by spreading these horrible lies and rumors about someone. You can ruin a persons name, career, livelihood, family life everything. Can you imagine that at a blink of an eye you lost your job, wife, kids, ability to make money and survive?
Not to be dramatic but this is the kind of impact that a lie/rumor can have on a provider's life. The same thing can happen to a client if a provider decides to be evil to get back at someone. Why?
How could anyone EVER joke or even try to lie about something like this.
It makes me sick to my stomach.
Think about that the next time anyone decides to be a scum bag (man or women)...Life is a really big bitch and evil people like this really pay...maybe not today but soon...
