So what is National Providers Appreciation Day (NPAD), let me explain.  It is a “grass roots” effort that started with an idea over six months ago to create a holiday for the ladies and to use that day to remember them.  It is a day to think about the ladies that we see, to remember them, and to thank them for the wonderful times we've had and the friendship and the caring they show us.  To look beyond the fantasies they fill for us and to realize that these ladies have lives outside of this, that bad things happened to them, they get sick, have families, and are real people.

So please take a moment today and send an e-mail or call the ladies you've met and thank them for the great times you’ve had, let them know that we do appreciate them, and that they are special ladies to us.  Post a message on your local board thanking them. Also take a moment and remember the ladies who are no longer with us. Say a silent pray for them.

Thanks for your support and let’s make this an annual event - Second annual NPAD coming up on May 2nd, 2005.

Ken
