well, they can't get her for the advertising business because it's not illegal. nevertheless they know what the website is all about and they still wanted to get her so they went after her on taxes. they couldn't get capone for his businesses due to lack of hard evidence so they got him for taxes instead. either way, they end up in jail which is their goal. the question is, will she continue rs2k when she gets out? i still fear they go after her client records.. i'm so glad i never signed up for that service. stay safe

the owner of RS was arrested for tax evasion. i'm not sure on the TER rules on posting this article link but it's on the chicago sun times website so you can find it yourself. this is why i never signed up for RS aka RS2K. they are a very popular verification site in the midwest similar to DC & 411 etc. i hope her files don't get confiscated b/c she had a lot of client info. they couldn't get her for what they wanted so they went after her or tax evasion... sounds familiar... Wrench, I have wondered that myself. Given TER is moderated, I dont understand why they continue to allow the useless dribble of that person. I saw that account is banned from another site.
So she has no comment, not a heads up - no care for the nervous clients?
Under investigation for 6 years - never a word? Not a 'hey, your info is safe".
That alone should give anyone pause. It speaks volumes. And it is a betrayal to us who trusted them.
That is all I will say on this other than to give a warning that Eros is showing patterns as others did before big 'ol problems - that is for newer ladies, its a hell of time to enter the industry, be safe.

In 2011 a Las Vegas provider was busted in Chicago after using RS-AVS for verifying a LEO client. To this day, I have never used RS-AVS, and I never will! Not only for my safety, but because I refuse to risk my client's personal information being turned over to LE or the IRS!
It amazes me, providers continue to use RS-AVS, after this recent bust!
All of the major verification services including P411 and DateCheck have had issues with LEO in the past from what I read/heard on these board over the years. Both P411 and DateCheck are still in business today, but I wouldn't be surprise if LEO is keeping a close eye on all of them too.
My guess is that it will be the same with RS-AV, since the issue is with tax evasion and not the escort ad/verification part of their business. Although, all we can do now is wait and see what happens.
There are also risks involved, no matter which verification service one uses. I'm a member of DateCheck and they all collect personal info from us, so it's just a matter of how much risk each of us in the hobby are willing to take.
