this might be a good idea if you could guarantee that the ladies using it valued discretion.  Unfortunately that isn't something that can be guaranteed.

Escorts have their personal identity protected for the most part and even use names that aren't their legal names.    Most clients must use real names, employment info and sometimes even more info for screening.

I think in this case the preservation of personal information must come first and the only way to help do that is to NOT have any form of database that allows personal information posted.

I am new to the hobby. Should the escorts have a place to review clients? Would this not help when You need a reference from a provider? Would it help the escorts avoid the bad clients?

Sensitive subject for some with personal information issues. In a more perfect world a client database would work. Other boards do have "DNS" lists.

What do we review? size? endurance? appearance? big tipper? I think it would change the dynamics of the hobby. There is a mystery to it all, and discrimination on the part of the provider might leave some clients left out in the cold. I get surprised when some men ask me if I need a photo of them. Should I see only the Magnum guy? What about the average joe? Will client reviews help my biz? I think not. I want to decide for myself! ....If the guy rocks...will I write a review? I might not want to share him!!!
Are reviews a reflection of egos? I prefer to keep it real, as discrete as possible.Appetites vary...Rip-offs, no shows, predators...they need exposure...my 2 cents :)

It might help us but a negative client can always get a new member name since registration isn't done by social security #.  I don't think that getting a reference from a provider is helpful at all as I have girlfriends trying to set me up w/ "nice" guys and these guys steal from their family and friends when no one is looking. I know guys who are admired by the public and they privately start hitting their girlfriends after a year. LE can also use hobbyists to entrap escorts. A guy can make 4 or 5 positive false reviews on agency ladies/high traffic independants in several different states and use that as "proof" that  he is legit and cause trouble.

Clients treat each escort differently. One of my favorite clients gave a really poor review on some agency girl once and it was mainly on her looks and I felt bad but he treats me like gold even taking me to my favorite restaurants each time he visits and does other favors for me as well.

I do think this site needs a preview link as I think I may have rambled on this topic

Wise providers/agencies routinely work with each other exchanging client references for the purpose of verification and sharing bad client info. It just makes sense!

I've heard of cities where providers are reluctant to exchange references based on the paranoid belief that they will lose clients. IMHO, that's just plain dumb but there is no shortage of paranoia in the hobby. ;)

has anyone been given legal trouble over this.

I have had two providers ask me for references and I always contact the clients first. I am so paranoid that one provider has been busted and LE are asking me if I have seen that client too to cause more legal grief.
