The blades are made by Wilkinson Sword in Germany, which have always been considered superior. In my experience, the Quattro Titanium work best, and has a battery powered trimmer that is useful in more than just a pinch.
As for the Yanks winning this year. put down $20 on 22-1 odds in Vegas back in January. So far, it appears that bet won't pay off...I think TV ad's are really stupid however every now and then there is a good one.
