Non Recently Reviewed Providers...???

Here's a question:

There are quite a few providers on TER who have not been reviewed in say the last 1 yr or 2 yrs. Yet, they might have recent postings on Backpage or even a thread on TER announcing where they will be soon.

Is it safe/smart/recommended to pursue a non recently reviewed provider? Or are we getting into TOFTT territory?

... in a few months, let alone 1-2 years, so yes, we are getting into TOFTT territory.

Better to stick with recently-reviewed providers.

I just saw lady who had a 6 month gap since her last review. I had a great time, I've also seen ladies with gaps of a year and more.  Politely ask the provider why the gap and the next question may be dicey, but ask her if the pics in the ad are representative of how she currently looks.  Bottom line, it's your call. If there is someone else to see with current reviews, I would see that lady and wait on the lady with the gap in reviews. Someone will see her eventually she the escort with a gap in her reviews , and once she has a current review, give her a call.

If a provider is well reviewed then suddenly has a gap in reviews......you never know what may have happened.....she may have taken a break....had personal issues going on, work related/school, kids or whatever......but to classify as "TOFTT" after she's been well reviewed is quite drastic to say.....at least in my opinion......but everyone can have their own right?

...that if a previously well-reviewed provider has no recent reviews, you should ignore this and press right on, confident that nothing has changed, that she is the same provider she was before? I'm sorry, but I disagree with that.

As you say, "you never know what may have happened," and it's only prudent to ask whether whatever (if anything) did happen might not affect her performance as a provider. For this reason, I believe that seeing a provider who has no recent reviews is a lot like "taking one," and that is why I said it. I don't think that's drastic at all.

Note that having no recent reviews is not the same as having a gap in reviews. Whoever closes the gap "takes one, " IMHO, and I am grateful to him for doing so.

Yes, we can all have our opinion on the matter, and I value yours. I am never so happy as when someone replies to one of my posts, and I thank you for replying to mine, my friend.

Provider with no reviews for over a year, but quite a few before that. Had one or two reviews as a double more recently. Provider also is quite active on TER, so I figured she was okay.

Long story short - scheduled a date, she canceled morning of. Rescheduled, she was NCNS. Profuse apology, we then rescheduled 4 more times (!). To be honest, I did not take her seriously after the first NCNS, so it was all scheduled near me, and it cost me nothing each time other than annoyance, followed by amusement when she apologized. Three more cancellations, one other NCNS. Lots of excuses.

Why did I continue? Her apologies and promises were very convincing. As this progressed she shared more and more about physical problems she has (yeah sure), and finally after the last cancellation, she said she would just contact me when she was feeling up to it. I replied that I expected to meet Santa first.

Through all of this she was advertising, new ads even, and setting up other stuff on TER. The whole thing is just a mystery. Oh, one other thing, when I discussed this with a fellow hobbyist, he told me of a very similar experience with the same provider.

There are many reasons why a provider might not have any current reviews, but in the future I will always ask. And I will know there is a risk this might turn out to be another wild goose, or maybe wild kitty, chase. Hell, I am seeing a provider next week who has no reviews since September, and I am a little concerned.

She would post on TER everytime she is available.  Always considered her but services was an outcall. The appointment turned out better than expected.

Yes, research shows she is active in other forums.  So my experience is different.

To the OP, one cancellation may be forgivable but two or more, move on.
