Oil is the lifeblood of this country. When gas prices rise so does everything else. If you want the US to remain as a shining example to the world then we must have fundamental change from this if nothing else.

Thats only one reason but its a biggie.

Ive included a link to "THE" plan. I challenge you to provide anything from McCain even remotely close to this. all McCain is doing right now is laughing up his sleeve as he prepares for a wonderful retirement.

If the RNC wanted to win they would have ran McCain/Romney IMO.

Obama just said we are a few days away from "fundamentally transforming" America.  In the past, he has talked about "restructing" the country.

I know we are not a utopia, we have problems, and I think things can always be improved.

The question I have is "Does the United States need to be 'fundamentally transformed'." or "restructured?

I don't think so.

He's talking about revitalizing our infrastructure which is without a doubt in sorely need of some help.  Even McSAME recognizes this, or do you not even listen to McSAME speeches either?

I guess you really are BLINDLY following McSAME.

No wonder McSAME is doomed!  LOL.

The fundamental flaws in a free market system are so severe that eventually it will collapse. Personally, because I am lazy and dislike having to chase off ravening hordes, I would liek to see the system restructured prior to an absolute collapse but I don't think that'll happen.

We'll just keep propping up the decrepit corpse of the free market with things like bailouts of GM and corporate pirates until the middle class decides it's time for something completely new and chops off a few heads. All successful revolutions have originated in the middle class. By successful, I mean in actually changing things not in just gaining power.

I hope I'm still around to see what comes next as the system which replaces the old one is always better but I don't think it'll come that soon.
