Yep, the "My Doom" virus(actually its a "worm") is spreading like wild fire.
It plays tricks with your e-mail. I had a bout with it yesterday.
It gives you false Miller Daemain error messages(message not received) on e-mail that you didn't even send. Also, gives you them on e-mail you sent...and the crazy thing... it really does not go through. It tied me up on business issues for several hours yesterday. Thankfully, I have Mcafee online virus control which did not initially detect my virus. I called their tech support which also supports AOL subscribers at 1-877-254-5507 and they were able to direct me to their online "stinger" download software which has appeared to eliminate the SOB worm.
...at least I hope it did as the problem hasn't happened since.Good riddance!

I received several of those yesterday, never opened them as I figured out they were suspicious (the intended email addys were not familiar to me).

Interesting thing to me was that NAV only alarmed me on one of them (out of maybe 6).

Thanks for sharing the info.

It's important to remember that the alledged sender of the virus probably doesn't even have it on his or her computer. I remember when Klez was making the rounds a couple of years ago, everybody was blaming each other on the local boards. In all likelyhood, nobody is sending it to you on purpose.
