You're crazy. It's like the worst traffic in the world around Edison. However, if you want to waste a tank of gas while you're sitting in traffic, go straight up Route 1. Let me know if she was worth it.

Go to the 30th Street Station and take either Amtrak's Northeast regional train or the Septa train to Trenton and then take the New Jersey transit train to Edison. Same route but by taking Amtrak you avoid the transfer. Then take a cab or Uber to your destination.
If you want to drive take I-95 north, which will magically become I-295 as it bends around Trenton. Take the exit for I-195 East for a few miles and take the New Jersey Turnpike to the Edison exit. It's maybe a 90 minute drive with good traffic
why do you want to go to Edison, New Jersey?
What am I missing by never having been there and how can I find it when I get there?

Maybe I should go there too.
