I have made a personal goal of every year to do more and more for people in need, no matter how bad off or how stressful my own life has become. So this Christmas Day, I am going out to a highly populated homeless area and am joining a small group of people who are cooking and serving the homeless. With that, we are also looking for things to keep people warm (hand warmers are awesome!) - gloves, warm socks, etc. This is where I could use your help!

If you have anything you would like to donate in the form of gloves, warm socks, boxes of hand warmers (they are very reasonably priced at Costco - I would be willing to make a Costco run), coffee, Styrofoam cups, etc. etc. I will gladly meet up with anyone to pick these items up or are you are more than welcome to bring them to an appointment as well. I will be cooking as well so anything in the form of something that could be made into soup, chili, etc. would be awesome (or with a grocery gift card, I can pick up ingredients needed)

Since I will be in the area, I would have no problem meeting up briefly with anyone who is willing to help the cause with donations.

With all that being said, I wanted to take a moment and say how incredibly blessed I have been with all the help I have received during this year with my health issues & hospital stays. This is an amazing community and the amount of help that I have gotten brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. So thank you to those who have continued to be such giving souls. Your good deeds do not go unnoticed... I am looking forward to paying it forward in whatever manner I possibly can.
