Welcome to those ladies who are new to TER, whether you are new to being a provider, or just new to this site. If you don’t pull any cash and dash (are not an ROB), if you use actual photos of yourself that are relatively current (don’t bait and switch), don’t up sell, and provide service commensurate will your advertising/web site, we wish you continued success in your chosen profession.
TER can be a large part of your success, as a good reputation is invaluable in any business. But more than that, TER is a place where people with similar interests interact to improve the quality of the experience between providers and hobbyists. TER is primarily a review and discussion board site. Provider advertising is a secondary purpose.
First up, if you haven’t already done so, you should register as a member of TER. Do that by clicking on the “Not a Member? Register for Free!” at the top left of the page. It is there that you will create your user name. You can either remain a “free” (non VIP) member or become a paid VIP member. Information on buying a full VIP membership is given on the TER “Home” page.
Next up, you’ll want to be reviewed. This, of course, must be done by a hobbyist who has had the pleasure of your company. (Remember, if you try to write a “self review,” it is cause for being banned from TER!) When you receive your first review, a TER profile of you will be created. A profile is created only when you receive your first review, providers do not create their own profiles. This profile will have a unique TER id number. Your TER id number can be found on your profile page right under your name. This TER id number is important for reasons given below.
The information entered by the first person to review you is what shows up on the profile. If you feel that any of this information (such as breast size) is not factually correct, or if certain information in your profile needs updating (such as if you get a new boob job, change your hair color, change your rates, etc.) you can contact TER and ask that the profile be changed. TER may or may not change the profile, depending on the circumstances of the request.
TER can be contacted by: e-mailing [email protected] or by using the “Contact Us” link at the top right of the page. Any time you contact TER, be sure to include your TER id number.
When reading reviews of yourself, it is important to understand the guidelines under which those reviews are written. To read those guidelines, click on “Reviews” on the green tool bar at the top of the page. This will take you to the reviews page. Then go to the left hand column and click on the “Submit Reviews” box. This will take you to the “Guidelines for Submitting Reviews” page. These are what we hobbyists must adhere to when submitting reviews. Please read this page carefully. Pay particular attention to Paragraph 7. Remember, reviews by their very nature are subjective. Don’t get freaked out if you do not entirely agree with the opinions expressed in a particular review.
Once you have a TER user name and a review profile, you can ask TER to link your user name to your profile. Contact TER (as described above) and ask to have your user name and profile linked. (Again, be sure to include your TER id number when contacting TER.) Once TER has linked your user name and review profile, you will have limited VIP status and you will be allowed to read the "juicy details" of your own reviews (but not of the reviews of other providers) if were a paid VIP member. To view the juicy details of all reviews on TER, you must be a paid VIP member. (There is also another benefit to having your user name and profile linked, to be described later.)
By finding your way to this info, you know that clicking on “discussion boards” on the green tool bar at the top of the page brings you to the discussion boards. Discussion boards provide an opportunity for TER members (both providers and hobbyists) to share information and opinions of interest to our little community. The column on the left of the discussion boards page contains links to the various boards, both national and regional.
Most discussion boards have links to a “Self Help Center” and “Message Board Policies” at top of their pages. The Newbie discussion board has an Acronyms and Newbie’s Manual instead of the Self Help Center. Read these sections thoroughly, as they contain a great deal of pertinent information.
The discussion boards (with a couple of exceptions) are moderated. That is, a person is assigned to monitor the particular board to ensure that the policies are being followed. As a new user, you will be on “moderated” status. That means when you write and submit a post to a board, it will not post on the board immediately. The moderator of the board must read it first, approve it (ensuring that it meets the policies), and then it will post. At some point in the future, after you have established a board posting history, you can contact the moderator and ask to be taken off of moderated status. Whether you are taken off of moderated status or not will be up to the moderator. If you are no longer on moderated status, your posts will appear immediately. Remember, you can be put back on to moderated status at any time if the moderator determines it is necessary.
If you have your user name linked to your profile (as described above), any time you post on a discussion board a "See my TER reviews" link will automatically appear next to your user name in the post. Anyone viewing the post can click on this link and will be taken directly to your reviews. (This is another benefit of have your user name and profile linked.)
If you wish to use TER for advertising, then certain discussion boards can be used. Advertising is only allowed on regional boards (except for porn stars who can advertise on the porn star board and transsexuals who can advertise on the transsexual board).
Detailed ad posting guidelines can be found on the “Message Board Policies,” be sure to read them before posting an ad. Briefly: you are allowed to post a maximum of one ad every 7 days on the Regional Board for the area that you are in (or going to be in if you are traveling there). If you post an ad on a Regional discussion board and give a link to your personal web site, the web site must have the TER badge on the front page with that badge linked back to TER.
If you wish to place a photograph on your ad post, the link below is to detailed instructions on how to do that.
That's the TER Quick Start Guide for Newbie Providers. There's a lot more to TER and our community than is written here, but this should help you get started. Good luck, and I'm forward to reviewing you!
Unfortunately it looks like your attempt to purchase VIP membership has failed due to your card being declined. Good news is that we have several other payment options that you could try.
We thank you for your purchase!
Membership should be activated shortly. You'll receive notification!
