So nice to hear that Spitzer and Tiger Woods were not outed by your agency.  Oh Excuse me, let me watch some big shooter on TV or better my local newspaper. I guess they won't report the NEWS when you go to the slammer and your customer database? I am sure Mundo will go underground, shut down his website like the last time you were in the ..... You are going to please 4th amendement now big boy?

I am horrified to find out that the two most commonly mentioned agencies in Tijuana(mexicolindo and cumintj) keep the email database of their clients. It is possible others do the same.

Anybody who uses these agencies should be aware that their information is not confidential.

I cannot imagine an agency or independent provider anywhere on the planet not keeping records of our/their clients.   I need to know who my clients are especially for special requests that I will not discuss publicly.  We have never and will never sell or trade the list of our clients.

There's not much I can add except to say that any well runned business will keep records on who their customers are and what are each particular customers likes and dislikes, that's how I keep on top of things.  What are we supposed to do, memorize each particular customers information?
For the record, any customer information is not shared with anyone.

I know both Dennis and NOB. They know next to nothing about computer security and encryption. Anybody with some simple knowledge of computer security can hack into their system.

Would you do trust bank transactions online if they did not have layers of security? The agencies have none.

Using an alternate email is no guarantee of your anonymity unless you use the email from a location different from your home.

Do you think someone would waste their time hacking into my info, to get your IP address?
I can tell you I have some pretty big shooters that you might see on television or in your newspaper and their they have not or would not be outed, the same as any client.

If someone wanted to hack into our system, they would really be disappointed with what they would find.

I don't know what you think, but the whole point of holding me was to steal my business and give it to a crooked cop who was working with me and got greedy.....He has since fled Tijuana.  I gave up no information then and the first three days that was their focus.

I'm not sure I follow.  If you use email from a web-based email, it takes either someone who works there or a court order to determine what location the email was sent from.

If you're worried about law enforcement, then don't be.  While soliciting a prostitute is not legal, there is no way the city will put investigators on a case and get a court order saying that Google or Microsoft needs to release the location of where the email was sent from.  Even if they did, the city would have to prove that it was actually you at your computer and not someone else sending the message from your home, like a guest or something.  That's extremely difficult to prove and I don't foresee that happening.

If you're worried about your identity, then as I said previously, use a different email address and a fake name, mate.  It's not that hard.  Even if one of those agencies wanted to find out who you were, the major email providers would not release that information.  Have someone send you an email from a hotmail account or something similar.  The origin is the hotmail server, not the computer that accessed it.

I could be wrong, but it sounds like you're just citing a reason not to use them just because you don't like them.  I have never used either agency and I don't plan to because they do not meet my tastes.  That being said, I'm not going to make up some hypothetical problem as to why I don't use them, I'll just use the real reason.  Comparing an escort agency's email list with a bank's depositor list is a little out there, don't you think?

You're looking for a guarantee for privacy when doing something against the law.  I'm not sure I know where you're coming from...

You actually use your real name and primary email?  You're kidding me right?  Information is sensitive enough, much less with something like an escort agency.  That data would be released at the slightest hint of pressure.  That's why you use an alias and an alternate e-mail address.  You don't actually tell these women your real name, do you?

Am I the only one who finds this somewhat bizarre?

I'm not saying that they are currently sharing information, but if it's between your ass and their's, consider your information compromised.  And CuminTJ has been caught several times for being flat-out dishonest and it's been put on this board numerous times, so I wouldn't believe anything they said in the first place.  I don't know about the other agency, but I know about the nature of self-preservation.

Be smart.  Use an alias and separate email.  If you're staying in hotels, I would get a false ID as well.  It's not illegal to carry a false ID, just illegal to present that to a law enforcement official and to claim it's you.  Not quite sure if it's illegal to make them, but you have the right to remain silent under questioning if it came down to it.  Besides, it's not like an escort agency or a sex motel is going to call the police, let's be realistic.

If you expect ANY agency, in TJ or USA, to REMEMBER you without keeping any records, then you are deluding yourself.

Use a cash hobby phone & hobby web based e-mail address with no personal information or e-mails sent/received to your other e-mail accounts.

I just don't see the problem.

Okay, the cash hobby phone will not reveal your real identity, but a hobby web-based email address can be traced to your computer's IP address, if I'm not mistaken.  And that IP address contains your real identity.

Or am I wrong about that?

You're partially right and partially wrong.  If you use your internet service provider's email server, then yes, it will show the location of the mail server and possibly your IP.  If you use a web-based email like hotmail, or gmail, or whatever, then when a trace is run, it only goes back to the main email server of those companies.  It takes a court order or an inside employee to trace the IP address of someone who sends an email from a web-based service.

I can tell you right now that Tijuana escort agencies are not that sophisticated.  Most agency employees don't even know what a court order is, much less how to get one, and that's even if the judge would sign it, and I believe she would not.  As I said previously, much ado about nothing.

Your registered on this website.  Why are you on the internet if you want to be free of tracking ???  Go analog and take your actions to the street girls.

This has been discussed before.  It is NOT news.

Most businesses keep customer records as they’re needed to provide good customer service.  Escort agencies are no exception—nor should they be.  However, unlike some businesses, Tijuana escort agencies don’t make their records public, sell information to other businesses, etc.  To the best of my knowledge not a single monger has every been hurt by agency record keeping.

Below are some tips I posted on another board for those who want to “go the extra mile” in protection their identity.  The following was posted back in 2007 because, as I said, this isn’t news.

-----------

Protecting Your Anonymity

For lack of foresight many mongers have had their secret discovered by wives, girlfriends, employers, etc. It is commonplace for businesses to contact customers in the hope of generating additional business; Tijuana hotels, escort agencies, etc. are no exception to this practice. Mongers who wish to remain anonymous should take appropriate steps to safeguard their anonymity. Some of these are discussed below:

Use an Alias. If you want to remain anonymous then never give a hotel, mesero, chica, escort, escort agency, etc. your real name. Instead use an alias.

Use a Separate E-mail Account to Monger. Never use an e-mail account that is associated with your real name, such as your work e-mail. Instead use Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. to create an e-mail account associated with your mongering alias and activities. Create your "mongering e-mail account" at cyber café, public library, etc. so there is no risk of your IP address being recorded as part of any registration information that might be stored when the account is created.

Cell Phone Customs. It is customary for mongers to provide escorts and escort agencies with their cell phone number; it really is an "occupational necessity." (There have been so many problems—missed connections, chicas running late, mongers running late, etc.—that many escorts/escort agencies won't book an appointment unless a monger provides his cell phone number.) Many escorts are afraid of accidentally greeting the wrong person. So when they think they have located their date they call his number and see if he answers his phone. It's not until they've established both visual and phone contact that many escorts actually approach and greet their date. (To make it easier for escorts to locate you don't forget to describe yourself and your clothes. Adding something like "I'll be carrying a coke in my left hand" really helps to prevent missed connections.)

Use a Pre-paid Cell Phone. Mongers who want to safeguard their anonymity should use a cell phone that cannot be traced to them. Boost as well as Cricket are excellent choices for those who want a phone that works in San Diego county as well as in Tijuana near the border (including the Zona Norte).  These days there are pre-paid phone that only charge your account on the days the phone is used.  The cost of a pre-paid phone is now so low there isn’t a valid excuse for not having one if you’re worried about problems resulting from others having your phone number.

Be Cautious With Computers. Employers, spouses, etc. often learn about a monger's hobby through information found on his computer. Be careful about what somebody using your computer could discover. Don't bookmark sites you don't want others to know you visit. Encrypting files containing hobby related information and—when possible—requiring a password to boot the computer is wise. Using programs like Window Washer to remove potentially embarrassing information is prudent.

Don't Disclose Personal Information. Those who talk about their occupation, where they work, their hobbies, kids, etc. shouldn't be surprised if before long somebody discovers their identity. (Mailing lists for trade magazines are sold by zip code. You'd be surprises what can be done with a first name and a little bit of information about where and what somebody does for a living.) Remember that "drinking buddies" can intentionally or unintentionally "spill the beans" so be very careful about who you tell what.

Create a "Legend". Mongers are often asked personal questions. To avoid "outing" yourself and/or being caught in a lie it is prudent to develop a "legend." It should be sufficiently detailed to cover routine questions such as your name, age, birthday, marital status, names and number of children, occupation, employer, place of residence, etc. With the possible exception of your first name, the legend should not contain any information that could potentially be used to trace your true identity.

Registering at Hotels. Many hotels require a person to show identification when registering. Those desirous of preserving their anonymity should consider having an escort or escort agency obtain the room. Escorts, understandably, are also reluctant to disclose their real names. Consequently such requests should be made when booking the date and mongers should expect to compensate the escort or agency for providing this additional service.

There has never been a report of a monger being blackmailed by a Tijuana escort or escort agency. The following steps, however, are often followed by mongers concerned about blackmail—wherever they monger.

Use an Internet Café or Proxy Server When Booking Dates. Your home and work IP address can disclose your identify. Those who do not want their IP address to "give them away" should use an Intent Café or proxy server when contacting escorts and escort agencies.

Don't Provide Pictures. Escorts and escorts agencies often ask mongers to provide pictures to avoid "misconnections." Many mongers comply with such requests and no problems have been reported. Those who fear being blackmailed or outed should not, of course, provide their picture. Instead they should describe themselves and what they will be wearing. Adding something like, I'll be wearing a blue ball cap and carrying a bottle of water helps prevents missed connections.

Pay in Cash. Don't use checks or credit cards to pay escorts. Also use cash to pay hotels, restaurants, etc. patronized when seeing an escort.

Use Cabs. One way a blackmailer could ascertain a monger's identify is by tracing his license plate. Those concerned about blackmail should use cabs and park their car in such a manner that others will not be able to learn what car a monger drives.

Register Cars to a Mail Box, Etc. Address. Blackmailers are often better at finding a monger's car than mongers are at hiding it. Registering a car to a Postal Annex type address (instead of work or residence related address) makes it more difficult for a blackmailer to contact a monger's spouse, neighbors, employer, etc.

Register Cars to a Small Business. Those who are extremely concerned about being blackmailed often register their car to a small business they've created to hide their identity. A fictions name statement is easily and inexpensively obtained and Delaware corporations provide a lot of security. Those taking such steps have a much better chance of preserving their anonymity in the event a blackmailer obtains their license plate number.

List a Mail Box, Etc. Address on Your Driver's License. For the reasons given above, those concerned about blackmail are well advised to use a Postal Annex type address for their driver's license.

Fake ID. Some mongers who are paranoid about being blackmailed obtain and use novelty/fake ID, especially when staying at short-term hotels like La Mansion. Those considering such practices should give careful thought to the potential consequences as such acts may violate both US and Mexican law.

The following are not directly related to safeguarding anonymity. However, this is a good place to give some advice on these subjects.

Second IDs. Many hotels require a guest to leave an ID at the front desk. This is especially true in Tijuana of "love motels" like La Mansion which mongers frequent. This presents a problem if the monger decides to go to dinner or a movie as Mexican law requires a person to carry identification on his person. The problem can be solved by getting and carrying a second ID. In California, for example, a person can legally have both a California driver's license and a California ID card. A non-resident can also obtain a California ID card (even using an address outside of California.).

Leave Emergency Money in Your Car. Muggings are rare in Tijuana and to date there hasn’t been a reports of  TJ escorts stealing a client's wallets. Still it is prudent to leave enough money in the car to pay the expected parking fee (plus at least one additional day) together with enough money to get a monger home. Driving a car with keyless entry is better than hiding an emergency key on the car.

Leave Behind What You Don't Need. Again, muggings are rare in Tijuana and aeven more rare are reports of TJ escorts stealing from clients. However, it is still wise to leave home (or in your car if safely parked) things you can't afford to lose, such as wedding rings, expensive watches, and excessive amounts of money. There is seldom a need to carry check books, credit cards, and things of a similar nature while mongering.

Carrying Large Sums of Cash. If you must carry large sums of cash then it is only prudent to take steps to safe guard it. A money belt is something many mongers use to safeguard cash. It has it's limitations in that it isn't something easy to wear during a session. An alternative is a pocket T-shirt worn inside out. It's very hard for a pick pocket to get his hand inside a monger's shirt, but it's easy for a monger to access his cash while sitting in a strip club, etc. Also it is possible (although certainly not ideal) to do a session without taking off a T-shirt.

Money belts, inside pocket t-shirts.  Sounds like you're ready to paradrop into Beirut, not go to Mexico.  Sounds like 30 minutes of sex requires hours of preparation for some.

Muggings are pretty common in Tijuana actually.  Crime is rising rapidly and mugging suspects are the main types of crimes I see where they bring in a collar.

The "mugging is rare in Tijuana" is on par with your absurd comments of the past like "Prostitution is perfectly legal".  We showed how the latter was basically garbage, so I think the same thing would apply with the former.

Tijuana is not a "safe" city.  There are places in Mexico and the world that are more dangerous, but that doesn't mean it's safe.  The way I see it, if you have to take off a watch, or wear special 'combat clothing' just to go to the store, I recommend against going to that city, regardless of where it's located.  Me, sometimes my wallet is loaded up, I don't take off my watch, and I'd rather have my things on me instead of in my car if possible.  I'm not going to wear silly clothes to protect against a mugging.  But that's me.  I'm not saying it's safe, because it's not, and the crime stats clearly show that, but that's just what I do.

As I stated above, your chances of being mugged in the Tijuana in the places tourists visit--including the Zona Norte--are low.  The exceptions are on Articulo 123 and in the area near Purple Rain, and even in these areas most people, most of the time, don't have problems.

The most common problems guys have in the Zona are self induced and alcohol related.  They get their pocket picked by some hottie sitting on their knee (who is probably a tranny).  Or when they pass out from drinking somebody steals their watch, wallet, rings, etc.  Which is why I recommend stashing your money in a pocket T-shirt worn inside out and leaving things like rings, expensive watches, etc. at home or in your car.

Why are you surprised that agencies keep customer records?  All business do that.  Without records how do you think they're going to remember to have Maria meet your at the border on Thursday at 7pm?  Without keeping a record of customer's e-mails how do you expect them to know who are repeat customers?  (Existing clients are the mongers who can receive pictures of chicas with boyfriends and/or only "date" existing clients who so they don't get "outed" to family and friends?)

BTW, agency records are confidential.  Confidential means the information is only seen by authorized personnel.  The agencies don't sell or give away your information to others, they don't post it on the Internet, etc.  In short they are discrete and the information they receive is kept confidential.

Furthermore, if you want to protect your anonymity just how hard is it to use an alias and a pre-paid cell phone?
