Who says gun ownership doesn't deter or stop crime? This story involves a long time friend of mine who had to kill a man who tried to rob his pawnshop yesterday. He was not named in the story, but it was him. It's clear that criminals WILL get guns and use them in crimes. Productive, law abiding people can only use the same force to protect themselves. My opinion...one less cockroach on the earth, and maybe society is a little more safe.

I chalk my rifle barrels like I do my pool sticks. Call you pocket, punk! That's what I say in my best Dirty Harry talking through my teeth voice. Just before I scratch, and the cue ball flies off the table and hits my opponents nuts. That's usually when I loose. And my opponent racks em up and breaks. I mean the balls on the table. But somehow, it still feels like I won.
Recently in the closest city to my home a criminal walked in a Ice Cream store with a toy gun that looked real..The manager gave him money and as the criminal was running out the door the manager shot him in the back multiples and killed him.. Grand Jury did not charge him as the manager did not know it was a real gun and he said he thought the guy was going to turn around and shoot ..There was a little uproar but I agree with the managers good shooting...I have a friend who was robbed at gunpoint and he gave up his wallet and the crook started to walk away and turned and shot my friend in the stomach.He lived but he now packs wherever he goes... "shoot first and ask questions later"
