Get lots of great, professionally done photos on it.
Give us your rate info, screening requirements, how to contact you, and any other nuts and bolts things a prospective client would need to know. And for god's sake tell us where you are located. (You wouldn't believe how many sites leave off the little detail. Remember the internet goes across the world. And don't give us a location like "Beaver County". There could be a hundred such places across the USA.)
Make it easy to read. No light pink type on a black background please. Make the type nice and large, and proof read the hell out of it. Make it professional.
Finally, make it easy to navigate and nix on the flash and the music. We don't care for it.
I think that's just about everything.
One more thing: remember the interactive TER logo on the first page.

I prefer that providers have websites. The big reason is to have the provider give details about their services, rates and other important information that would help the hobbyist decide if you are the best fit or not.

Seriously, our websites can be invaluable (a provider like me sells as much on personality as anything else- nearly every single one of my reviews mentions my writing which is why I continue to do it, it truly generates business) but if you're really pretty (and you are) you can be successful without maintaining a static presence online. Keeps you safer, flying UTR, attracts an enviable clientele etc.
If you do decide to do a website...password protection is a traffic killer. When you get a website read your web traffic. The first 5-10 seconds determines whether or not someone stays on your page. When I'm checking out another lady's website the first thing I look at is pictures and then rates. So does everyone else.
Keep it intuitive and easy to navigate. If you don't have anything interesting to say, don't. If you do, make it work for you.

What are you trying to protect from the masses?
Guys looking for ass have VERY short attention spans, so if it is too complicated, they tend to move on. All the women I know who have a protected site are usually A. charging on the ups of 500, and B. are pretty much low volume. Think about what you hope to accomplish and try it out. If after a month or so you feel you want more calls, do away with the password. No harm in having pics that are password protected, but at least give them an idea of what you look like. Men are visual, so you have to dangle some goods for them to contact you ha ha.

If you password protect a site and ask people to send email to get access, you are no better than those who use the trick to collect email and sell emails to spammers.
I use several addy’s. I have two that I only give to trusted parties all others get, what I call email spam collectors which I never bother to look.
