I was just kind of wondering what everyone thinks. I am a young guy, in my late 20's, but look even younger. At times, this has been a major distraction for some providers. A lot of women advertise an age minimum, which is completely understandable. However, I always just assumed that it was because they wanted to make sure that the individual was mature and not some frat boy asshole.
Does being with a younger guy make some most women awkward or is it just a personal preference thing? This is also the time of year when there are many meet and greets out there. Would being a younger guy and new to the hobby make some people there feel uncomfortable?

I'm 32, but look 22. Every single time I meet a new provider this seems to happen. I get a really weird vibe, and sometimes they want to see my ID. I think they think I'm LE because I don't look right somehow. I can almost hear them thinking. "Too young. Something is up." Now I just leave my ID on top of the donation, and get in the shower so she can check it or whatever. That usually breaks the ice. It's a bit of a risk for me, but I really could care less if providers I see know all about me. If she isn't comfortable around me, the date isn't worth it. The other answer to your question is bowth. Some providers are older, and have kids that look like us... Others have been screwed over by young assholes.
You young, flat bellied, good looking guys shouldn't have to be paying for it. I think it's easier to understand us old, fat , bald, married guys having to pay beautiful women to spend time with us.
If you do not understand what I meant by that I will suggest to you, what my father always suggested to me when I did not understand the meaning of a word, term, or phrase.
Go look it up in the dictionary. And, to add even more irony here----Back in "those days" a dictionary did not mean google. It was a book. Weird, I know. But, just trying to keep it topical on the issue of age.
You would be surprised how many younger people do this. Most just don't know about TER. Today. Relationships are not the way they were yesteryear. It sounds stupid, but I think it's the economy.
Some guys do it not because they can't get laid, but because they don't want to deal with all the bullshit that comes with dating and hookups in their civie life.
As a mature provider I have no desire to be with someone my son's age or one of his buddies that he hangs out with. Even though they are of legal age, it just grosses me out to think about it.
That doesn't stop the young guys from calling and telling me how they got a thing for older women.
It goes both ways, even if you like an older woman, the older woman needs to like younger guys.
In your case I think its a matter of how you present yourself to the provider and her age. You shouldn't have too much of a problem if you are respectful to her from the first contact all the way thru the date.
I'm not old enough to have children who could consent to sex, but being with a 20 y/o is fun for me. I just know not to expect a young man to have towels or toilet paper in his bathroom.
.......I simply do not feel comfortable around younger gentlemen: never have. I have always dated, been involved with, been a sugarbaby to, gentlemen who were much older than I.
When I do make exceptions, it is usually with gentlemen that have a miltary background, and like you said, are gentlemen from the beginning.
Im 23. I actually look older for my age and always get comments about it.
I've had providers with "age minimums" make exceptions for me before. But I've also had providers decline to see me cause of my age. Im fine with that and respect their preferences. But im always truthful in my initial contact about my age so their are no suprises.
When you mention going to a meet & greet, I personally would never go to one as a young hobbyiest. I wouldn't want to hangout with people my dad's age and wear suits and stupid shit like that.
Most providers seem to know that I look and am young. However, I mostly see ladies that are listed 25 and under, so not many problems. I am pretty well-known around the area with EXCELLENT reputation, and sot many seem to be VERY happy to see me. These days, it is always easy-screening and follow-up. Plus, modt provide me with incredible GFE's.
Patience, kindness and generosity- they all pay off eventually! Now, go and think about that
They are happy to see that white envelop. All the looks in the world make no difference if that envelope is missing. If you are clean and play by their rules, it makes the appointment that much easier. But make no mistake, it's a business first and foremost.

not every provider is all about the money, or "business first." as stated before, we all have different motivations for participating in this hobby.
no amount of money in the world would motivate me to share intimate time, sexual or not, with a man i wasn't compatible with, and i am just not compatible with "young." in fact i would consider that disrespectful to the gentleman. i provide sincerity or nothing at all.
For me since being a independent provider I have only seen a handful of gents who are in their early or mid 20's.When I worked for an agency I saw a lot more younger guys. I do prefer mature gents but if a gent is in his 20s respectful and has references I do not have a issue. In my experience excluding the younger fabulous gents that I have seen in the past I have gotten a lot of time wasting and playing around from the younger gents.I just delete those messages I do not want to group all younger guys in the same bunch because there are some really cool younger guys a certain "Boytoy"comes to mind

Older guys generally have more money. We've worked longer and had time to advance our careers. Besides, good looking escorts can go out and get just about any good looking young dude to hook up with if they want to. But an older guy/client, with more $$$$, and frankly, a little less sex drive(we were younger once too), is probably the target audience of most escorts.

I take it the younger guys on here also don't have kids or a stay at home wife to support. You have a point about saving, but once-per-month is doable for a lot younger guys with a job and few liabilities.
.....it's personal preference for me. Even though this is p4p we all have to have our standards somewhere and our personal tastes come into play somewhat. I wouldn't date a man outside of the hobby under 27 or a woman under 25 outside of the hobby so I wouldn't inside. While there are immature men from 20 to 70+ um it kind of decreases drastically imo in general in certain age ranges. So....while I do like younger men I leave it to no younger than late-ish 20's but i've made some exception on SOME active/reserve/retired military gents lol. I've recently seen a 24 y/o training in the Army, 26 y/o who'd done 7 yrs in the Army and just finished his last tour & his enlistment ended, and 23 y/o Marine.
The posts above and my experience illustrate how age is related to maturity, which correlates with courtesy, which is appreciated by providers of any service.
Reminds me of a provider who told me that she hangs up on anyone who calls and starts the conversation with something like, "Yo bitch..."
It's simply not true. Half the time I think a 12 year old is posting from many of their accounts just by the grammar alone. I have always dated guys my age or a little older in real life, and I can say that NONE of the stereotypes for them are any different than older men I have met in the hobby. I find older men are "slower" as far as sex goes, but not always more "skilled."
I hobbied sporadically in my late 20's and got some strange looks from providers. A few were supposedly my age or younger, but were probably old enough to have babysat me at some point.
It's not a problem so much any more, because I primarily choose providers 5-10 years younger than myself; so I guess I look old enough to them these days. I put off regular hobbying as long as I could, but this year I said screw it; I would rather use it while it's still working well. I can get laid outside the hobby, but it's usually a long, tedious, process; and I have zero success in clubs or bars. Plus, this routine of showing up at a hotel, meeting a brand new girl, and then having sex within minutes is an addictive thrill. I don't know if I'll be able to stop when I'm in a relationship again or not.
