For the most part it is used negatively.  I know, people can say we give the word the negative power but seriously, being called as asshole is never a good thing, no matter how I try and see it in a good light.

Most men would be proud if they was in such demand that women pay them. You can only degrade the willing. Men are not willing to be degraded over having a strong sexual desire, or being used sexually sexually for a ladies pleasure. Now most men are less happy about paying for it and more willing to be degraded over that. "Trick" is as offensive as whore. Still some chose not to be offended by ether term. They are the smart one. No I am not quite one of them, being called a "trick" bothers me some. We all know I am a fool though.

And how much of that do you suppose is jealous hateration from other women?
Pretty sad. Though to me whore is a more diminutive term than hooker which to me connotes a haughty playfulness.

Like you can tease a friend and call them a dumbass because you are familiar with them and they know you don't mean anything by it. Just saying.

i also hate the words skank and slut..only if you use them in a colloquial manner..

I work with a guy who always says, don't get me wrong, so and so is a great guy but.....he has syphillis and he rapes his dog....or something to that effect
