She advises that I use only wild American ginseng (white ginseng) as using too strong a ginseng (red) can have negative results.  Overall, my libido and sexual stamina have rebounded in the past few years, so there could be something to it.

Also consider that the Chinese have revered ginseng for centuries, and they are the most populous country.  I don't think that is a coincidence.
