Real Value of 150 Roses

Hey Folks,

I have noticed in a number of postings using the "value" of 150 roses.

It got me thinking, what is the real market value of sending someone 150 roses?

After checking a number of local and national florists, the average price of sending someone 150 roses is about $807, which includes the greeting card and delivery chages.

I'll stick with bringing the Benjamins because those last a lot longer.

Just like in the hobby, the simple definition rose does not work.

There are tea roses, long stem roses, spray roses, etc.  Some are less than $.50 a piece and some are dramatically more expensive.  Just like here it depends upon your taste in roses as to what they will cost.

silk or real?

long stemmed or short?

From a funeral home or bought at 1-800-Flowers?

Exactly...

A rose by any other name is still a rose....

great sentiment, but not necessarily the truth and nothing but the truth...
