I found out that the new club still has Tim as the owner - a facelift to perhaps get more business. I've never been in there but heard it wasn't too great. Maybe it'll be like the attempt to make the "Million Dollar Cabaret" with burlesque that fizzled after the opening night.
I've just be sent the attached URL to a place called The Strip AZ; their site is snazzy but small and I've never heard of it before. They are (or will be?) on 19th just south of Camelback. Is this some old, existing club being renovated?
I wonder if it is from the same owners as The Strip, near LAX in Los Angeles. That is a great place, though the laps are pretty pricy (double) compared to phoenix standards.
yes it the same old club that has been there for ever. it last was called the surger shack.
I should have known- checked the address and it tallies. I recall Tim (who still owns Centerfolds) sold it to some new owners and they are trying to give it a facelift.
