I've avoided no-shows in recent months by booking with well-reviewed providers only. Unfortunately, I booked with Angie/Renee, confirmed by a live phone call and an email. I went down to the corner, called and got voicemail for ten minutes.
An email apology showed up, admitting double-booking, and offering to reschedule tonight. I said fine, sent an email and left a voicemail. No email back, no phone call back. Nothing. That's twice in two days. Here's my original post:

She is a notorious no show,has one million excuses, have to admit though she can write fiction after she blows her reputation completely... i have it on authority that this is the reason Miki won't work with anymore.

I thought I had an appointment for today and that it was a matter of setting the time. I also thought the time was understood. I can admit that I might have made a mistake. I did not call at 9 AM. I believe it was 10:30 AM or 11, but no matter. I made a mistake, fine. It will not be my first. It will not be my last. I was very respectful and made it fully clear that you were apologetic. I know you did not feel great, and I agreed I did not want to see you if you were not feeling great and not at you best. Silly me also thought we had an appointment set for Yesterday, but I guess that was also a figment of my imagination. Fine I made another mistake.
I deleted my posts because the attacks became very personal and I want no part of that. A reference to information you think you know about my personal life that may or may not have been disclosed behind closed doors violates every ethical principle I can think of. Again my mistake.

It takes time for people to realize that these are not isolated incidents but a pattern of inconsistency,this girl has more drama than Bette Davis and Joan Crawford combine'her reviews also indicate a difficulty to connect,bottom line reliability is as important as skills

Wow! Just when things were getting a little boring on this board, the waste matter really hits the ventilator! I've had a couple of no-shows over the last several months: Just Jamie (who apparently fled the states never to return) and the infamously-obnoxious Heidi Starr. One common theme shared with ARL is that they never show a hint of contrition and immediately go on the attack. Take a look at the posts in this thread and you'll see what I mean. Rather than simply admitting a mistake, no-shows tend to make things much, much worse by responding with all sorts of obnxious tripe, thereby confirming everyone's worst suspicions.
Why does this stuff not come out sooner? In my experience when no-shows are exposed on this board, often the reaction by many is to rush to their side and try to curry favor by offering all sorts of weak justifications and, in effect, accusing the victims of somehow screwing up. As we all know from recent experiences, there's way, way too much shilling that goes on around here and justified criticisms of providers are often flamed unmercifully.
Just my 2 cents. . .
PS: Angie, good riddance to you and your attitude. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!

At this point, whether I am right or wrong of my perception about having plans with her or not is of no moment. I thought I did (with the exception of a fixed time and I believed she would make time for me), she says I didn't - so I misunderstood and I am willing to admit to a misunderstanding. I am even willing to say I should not have jumped in and posted anything in this thread. Too late.
There was, however, NO EXCUSE to post certain information about me (true or not) or to threaten someone with an "outing." But now I understand so much more. Experience is the greatest teacher. If I knew then, what I know now, I never would have risked exposure or placing myself in a dangerous situation to make sure she was ok when she disappeared for a week. Lesson learned. I have nothing more to say about this thread or to its subject.
And he is neither disrespectful nor cheap....as a matter of fact he is one of the nicest men I have had the privilege have to met in my travels...he also is one of the best oral experts I know....Rock on Freezie!!!!

I wish that I had read these postings before I wasted my time. A very similar event happened to me with her. I attempted to post a review stating that she stood me up but TER would no post it. I asked them why not but they have not answered me. If we could post a No-Show - Stand-Up then perhaps at least some of the providers would pay attention if it costs them busines. Personnaly I would not bother with any that behave this way. They are business people. If I treated my clients this way, I would be out of business very soon. Having to check a discussion board is a pain. TER could do a better job. Perhaps if enough of us make an issue of it, they will make some changes.
