If you approach her like that, you'll probably offend her.  The truth is, in movies, we have a say on who we'll work with.  If a girl does movies, it doesn't mean she'll necessarily do anyone.  In many PS's minds, porn is okay, but providing is the bottom of the barrel (they don't know, like I do, how wonderful you guys are)...other women provide, but would NEVER do porn.  Some might provide only if they like you.  Ask her first if she does private shows because you heard that a lot of the girls do that.  Bring up services such as E2K and Body Miracle in casual conversation, and see what her reaction is.  You'll get a pretty good idea of how she feels about it before you pop the question.  And certainly don't do it in front of a bunch of people.

The company I work for is going to have a booth at a trade show in Vegas and they are having me fly out there and run the thing for 3 days in August.

The intresting part about all of this is that my boss hired this really hot porn star to be in the booth with me for the entire 3 days to sign autographs and to help attract people to the booth to check out our products.

Id rather not mention who she is, but I have done serches on the web and she has been in several adult magazines and has recently done a few dozen videos.

The problem is that I don't think she is a provider, since I can't find anything about her on the web anywhere showing where she takes appointments.

I know she is getting paid by my company $1500 for a 3 day appearance to do autographs, which is really nouthing compaired to what she would make as an SP.

Im going to be with this lady for 3 days in a booth, do you think its even possible to get an appointment with her?

Whats the difference as seeing her as an SP, or filming the thing as a video which she does already?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Just treat her like you would anyone else. Don't mention what you know. Ask her out and let it happen. It should become obvious what to do.

Methinks if you are suave enough... you could land her for free. I mean you have entire days with her... better have some game!

I agree with Jenn, so many girls don't see providing and porn as similar at all - and won't do it.

However, without knowing who she is I would say that if your boss hired her to do a job you might get an answer of "NO WAY!" Even if she did it under the radar... The same way many porn stars that actively and openly do will say the same thing at the AVN Expo, Erotica LA, Adultcon, or any other adult oriented show where they are hired to do a job. Some younger starlets think nothing of doing a director or photographer to get a job... Others know that you don't have to fuck in order to get a job fucking on camera. (Doh!) And many stars find it offensive that just because they do porn that guys would think they'd do anyone, anytime, in any situation. What you do is not indicitive of what you do for a living - and assuming that the financial gain might outweigh the rest might not just offend - but get you hit with a sexual harrassment suit. I say steer clear unless you approach her strictly for drinks after a long day on the floor... and let it go from there. After all, for those days she is employed by your company. Think of her as a fellow co-worker... albeit a hot one. Would you approach the bosses hot personal assistant that way? If not... you might want to reconsider.

You're going to be hanging out/working with this girl without having to do anything?  How cool is that?  Why would you think of paying her for a roll in the hay when you might hit it off and party with her and maybe more for nothing?  Just treat her as a regular person.  Who knows you might not even like her that much.

As noted by Jen, there are plenty of "providers" who won't appear in a porn vid, and the other way around.
As noted by others, treat her as you would anyone else. Let's hope that equates to "nicely".  Also, keep in mind that she and YOU are being paid to be in the booth to make sales. If your boss thinks you are paying too much attention to the "attraction" and not to the "business" you may soon find yourself out of a job.
Also, keep an eye out for her husband/boyfriend/manager (could be all the same person).
Good Luck

OK after 10 yrs in adult behond the camera and  directing ... do this, be yourself first off. Dont treat her like anything special just like you would any other co worker.  Dont talk about your family if you can avoid it too much.  But above all treat her like a human that you have little interest in going to bed with.  Its reverse phycology. As sad as it sounds most of the time if your just cool good sense of humor and respectful alot does and can happen.

Dont ask her to dinner the first night maybe the second night but dont make it seen really formal, more just like hanging out.

Thanks for all the helpful replies.  Sounds like the best approach to all of this would to simply be to be super nice to her, and hopefully the right conversation will come up where I can pop the question and go from there.

Let me ask this, I have seen several of this ladies videso's and they are kind of semi-amateur like the stuff you see one some of these adult websites.

Now im not going to do this, but whats the difference between being an SP, and me getting my own video camera and being the star of my own movie?

Hey Dave365..which convention ;)
what are her initals? I bet someone will know if she provides or not..?
I tink it will be more exciting if you know the answer before you meet her and I also think it will be easier to deal with the situation as far as approaching her when you know the answer....

You could also post a PM to me or some other guys asking about her, and maybe get the info Lzogh mentions.

I would do some additional follow up with people on this board who are fantastic resources.  There are stars who do not, those that do and don't care if their name is out there and others that fly below the radar.

Research, research, research.  Like many things in life, smart work pays off.
