MOst of you know I have been killing myself trying to raise the money that I Needed for an advanced therapy called Bioness to un-paralyze myself after the stroke I had.... Well as it turns out my mother who is who I was visiting in Colorado, has a dea rfriend that is a physical therapist and made us an appointment with him, trusting that he would give us a true and un-biased opinion about my situation as well as about the Bioness treatment. When he first heard fro my mother that my shoulder had been dislocated for 3 years he wasn't very optimistic however, when he met me in person and saw how much I Had managed to recover in just one year all by myself through sheer instinct and determination(also very athletic past)  he changed his tune and said that if anybody could make a full recovery it would be me !  He then proceeded to tell us that Bioness is 90%"hype" and upsell, he said there were other machines on the market that do the same thing but for a fraction of the cost...He let me try out a couple different ones while I was there. The machine tthat I finally settled on was even BETTER than Bioness in that it had a stronger action on me and the electrodes can be placed anywhere on the body, even the FACE! so only one device is needed as opposed to Bioness where I was going to have to buy two machines, one for arm and one for leg...total cost about 12,600  + dollars!!!  The new machine was available on Amazon.com for such a lower price I Have already ordered it and should be arriving this Wed. YAY!!!  The bad news is that I'm gonna need to stop providing again for about a year because my therapy regimin is going to be a full-time job to have success about 6 hours a day, a minimum of 10 min. needs to be spent on each muscle in the affected areas, not muscle groups but each individual muscle, electrodes on and doing an exercise when the electricity makes that muscle contract. I am literally having to re-wire my brain as well as streangthen atrophied  muscles!  Right now and for about a year I need to do this with ALL of myenergy and focus,no distractions...HECK it was going to take me at least a year just to come up with the money for Bioness! Now I can spend it actually recovering....Please don't forget about me, I miss you all so badly..
