If you want to use a lady as a reference then ask her first. #1. it could be your SO contacting her. #2 it's just polite to ask her before.
Always ask her first if it's ok for her to be a reference. And notify her every time beforehand when doing so...
will not give one unless she is able to verify that the provider is "legit." She will require a website to verify. If she has any suspicions, she will contact the client directly via e-mal before giving a reference.
That's why I like RS2K and P411. So much easier.
