I have also had providers straight up refuse to see me. It's best to be upfront about these things because I don't want to waste my time and money on some woman who doesn't want to see me. I want her to feel comfortable and providers have preferences too. Some ads will say who she wants to see.
I have a foreign accent and when I tried to call this really beautiful white girl on my second sentence she hanged up.
So please save a lot of us the embarrassment, a great percentage of the US population is non white you know.
