To be clear, No, I'm not having issues with the sheets & blankets.
As a gent with a medical condition that has reduced my sensation down there...  I have to get the friction in just the right place to make things happen...  which can be spectacular in the right conditions.
However, in the hobby with protected sex, the cover can be an issue.  Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  (If no my fav ladies finish what we started by some other means.)
All condoms used are "prelubricated" but I'm considering the theory that they may not be adequately lubricated.  Back in the dark ages, prelubed were pretty messy.  Current issue (premium branded) not so much.  I'm thinking that more lube on the inside allows more movement inside, causes more of the friction on ME.  And makes a finalle more easy to achieve.
The down side...  more care must be used on withdrawal to retain the cover on me.  I have not had a problem with keeping the cover in place through out but that is a shared concern.
I had excellant luck with a Fav lady who applies it with her mouth...
I've tried AstroLube inside (what was on hand).  Both worked rather well.
This is just a theory... a work in progress at this time.  I welcome thoughts from ladies & gents, but especially ladies (as my fav ladies usually do the application...  they're much better at it than I am.)

some ladies complain that they are "cumbersome".
i've experimented a few times with a few people. the ladies with whom i've used them eventually found them unwelcome.

playing safe beats the alternatives. i won't assume risks for someone else and i dislike having people assume risks for me without my knowledge and consent.

that is not "classy" at all IMO, just plain disrespectful.

it is not so much about my health though since i am really old and you can ask the ladies i've seen.... they'll tell you that they can't tell the difference between me and very very well preserved corpse. ;-) except i have a big mouth.... ;-)

i don't have anything catching and i am certainly not going to catch something that could be passed on!

The instructions that I have seen on condom wrappings tell you not to lube the inside, though I love the feel of it better myself.  Granted, I have not done a scientific survey of the instructions or inquired into the reason for the ban.

Trojan's Her Pleasure lubricated condoms.  There are roomier at the head which allows the movement you are looking for but still snug at the base for the safety.  I know one gent who loves them!

OK, my Favs are generally ok with my bringing my own Condoms...  I'm sure they would not care what brand I bring (in sealed packages, of course)
I'm not sure about female condoms...  I'd think that would need to be discussed before hand.  I've heard of them, of course, but never used one & know less than nothing about them.

Using a little extra lubricant makes perfect sense!
I remember back in college when I studied fluid dynamics and properties of chemical agents.
The extra lubricant inside the condom combined with both the added lubricant on the outside and the lovely ladies' own natural lubricant allows for greater transmission of pressure waves (in this case, sensations) through the barrier (i.e. condom) much better.  Sometimes almost feels like there's no barrier there at all due to the increased sensation present.
I use it all the time . . . BUT the downside is that you have to be VERY CAREFUL when fully withdrawing as the condom becomes very slippery & wants to come off more easily!!
