To say "a lot of folks" would be a stretch. There are three or four trolls here who, if you even mention a k-girl's name, they will cry and moan for days on end about "shilling." For some reason, they only complain when it's a k-girl being discussed. We can all read between the lines to determine the reasons for that.
To address your second point -- yes, there is absolutely no question that LA board participation has fallen off a cliff, compared to the levels from a few years ago. That trend has been discussed at length and I doubt anyone would dispute it. The fall off coincided directly with the break between TER and a certain ad board that I am not allowed to name or TER will censor my post. I remain a paid member because TER is helpful when I travel. But it's become virtually worthless in LA due to all of this drama and bickering. As a result, many LA hobbyists have simply moved on to other places. Sorry for the brief history lesson, but you asked. The K-doll discussion should be brought back to this board to make it great again.
falls flat in a closed, cloistered community. If your ladies need a larger market they must learn to adapt.
We tolerate "Shill Fridays" in these 'open' communities. But we're NOT going to again allow our regional discussion boards to turn into a ticky-tacky of crass, tasteless promotion 24/7.
There is already a Kgirl board on TER, and the K-fans have their own exclusive board which was described by a monger as "harder to enter than Fort Knox" (wow, so much gold there?)
So, why the need for crusade? Total intrigue
Both the LA discussion board and the new k-girl board are pretty much dead. That's directly a result of TER banning links to a certain ad board and the k-girl enthusiasts understandably moving on to other places.
Unfortunately, I don't see TER changing its policy any time soon. TER management seems to be fine with two lifeless discussion boards.
