END OF MESSAGE

Well it's been all over the media for the last 24 hours. Whistle blower Eric Murdock, a 9 yr. NBA veteran  has let the cat out of the bag. He also was fired as the Rutgers basketball development coach,  by Rice and the Rutgers AD for bringing this story out in the open.

The state of NJ has a whistle blower law, so Mr. Murdock has retained legal council for what is sure to be a wrongful termination suit.

As a rather poor high school and college athlete during the late 60's and 70's I can say that I was the subject of this type of coaching behavior, but WTF, that was just the way it was back then. Remember coaches  like Bobby Knight, Woody Hayes, Frank Kush to name a few.

Now that even LeBron, Gov. Christy and a whole bunch of others have chimed in, how long can Rice and the AD survive?

So what say you my fellow TER sports fans, should Rice and the AD be shown the door.

Rice should go immediately!

Mudock will lose his wrongful termination suit on the technicality that he was not fired.  His contract was up and was not extended.  Maybe offered a little something to sooth his pain.

The AD should be shown the door and possibly the president.  They covered up physical and mental abuse and had several good players leave school due to these actions.

Very different from Penn State, but cover ups are bad for tenure.

I played college sports and yes it used to be different in that this was okay then.  Glad I played when I did.

Rice should be arrested and tried for assault. If when convicted do some real prison time and then see how tough he really is.

The AD and others should also be accountable for not doing anything.

Rice has earned the right to be fired.  And they finally fired him this morning.  The AD needs to go as well - he knew what was going on and lived with it.  Pathetic.  If that was my son being abused like that, I'd drive to Rutgers and kick the AD's ass and then track down Rice to kick his ass.

I really don't see what the big deal about throwing balls is.  Our coach threw lots of balls at us.  I really think it made us better dodgeball players.  LOL.  Seriously there is no excuse for his actions.  I had a coach in high school football that thought he was a master motivator.  He told me once if I tried I could make anybody pay me to let them live.  (his words)  I grinned at him and said maybe your right, but I could make you pay me now.  He seemed to have more respect for me after that.

So sad ! Bet really bet he's soft and large in bed. Mike Reiss that is lol .
Love Jennifer .

Word on the street was that Rice wouldn't be retained after next season. Rutgers had already decided that he wouldn't be the coach to take them into the Big Ten in 2014-15.

Rice looks like a lightweight  from my perspective
My Coach in High school would make Rice seem like Pee Wee Herman .
He dished out genuine physical abuse , his words didn't sting me  .
His physical abuse made me tougher not weaker .

My Elementary training prepped me for High School
I played "kill the queer with the ball"  starting in second grade .
I never felt Gay when I had the ball while running from the whole class .

Eric Murdock sounds like a whining little sissy . Three years of tape he comes up with a few minutes of ball throwing , some juvenile shoves , and new wave politically incorrect speech .
Good for Murdock he never tried boxing .
The medicine ball would make him cry like the whining  baby he is .

I pity the new and improved  generation of sissies in training , backing up in retreat at the
first sign of adversity .
