Sorry to bother the board with this, but its been several years since I've been to Vegas. Before I book my hotel, I was wondering what everyone thought of the Wynn. Big band when it opened, has it stood up? Is it "friendly" to visitors? May fav (mandaly bay) is booked when I'm planning to come in.
I have not seen a recent post on this, so I apologize for what regular readers of the board may find redundant.

I've stayed at the Wynn a few times. I still prefer the Bellagio overall, although the restaurants at the Wynn are very good. As for security issues it's the same as for most of the other hotels, i.e. security personnel at the elevators to whom you need to show your room card, etc. Otherwise, no problems. Have fun.
